well, its something to do i suppose.
i haven't been camping in ages and find it good fun. just something about going somewhere different, having a temporary place to call home and that you own...unlike a hotel where you don't own the room you stay in.
i do luxury camping anyway. bring a telly, a heater and a inflatable matress, like hell am i sleeping on the ground in just a slepingbag for ANYBODY!

At least I would have thought so... getting a regular TV into a tent doesn't sound like an easy task. Where would you plug them in for starters? (unless you kept your car running as a generator and hooked them up to the battery... and I imagine that really would piss off other campers)

My eyes feel tired today... which is quite stange considering I had a good 8 hour kip last night. Had some crazy dreams too, just wish I could remember them better.
Anywhy... HI EVERYBODY!
Installed Windows 7 to my PC at the weekend and still getting my head round it. It's much better then Vista imo. ^_^

my friend let his toddler brother play on the computer....the toddler went to town on the thing, clicking buttoms hitting the keyboard and generally going mental.
m friend came back to see the blue screen of death after the toddler had somehow managed to corrupt key components that run the machine...
he urgently called me at work and asked for my help. i went round later that night and tried to log in via the Bios safe mode. it logged in then crashed. in the end the machine was f***ed. so i said i'd call round later during that week with an OS and a reformat disk to sort out the blue screen, but they will lose everything on the machine because i couldn't log in to transfer everything across to my external hard drive.......went round the next day with the gear and they said "its alright....we've fixed it" i said "wha? how?" leo's dad replied "we binned it and bought another one" ......my jaw was on the floor. the PC they had binned was less than 6 months old and cost over £500.
AND THEY BINNED IT WITHOUT BATTING AN EYELID!
who the hell does such a thing?

i don't know what i was more shocked at...that they had binned a PC simply because they let their accident child on the machine and it managed to do the one thing thats damn near impossible to correct if you can't log into an account.
or that they hadn't paid me for my time and that they could have paid me with the machine, i'd have atleast salvaged it and used it for my own gain :/
hell i need a new computer.
I have my laptop which i use pretty much for everything. but then i have a proper PC on my desk in my room with built in HD dvd player, built in tower (into the moniter) and built in speakers. its used for high performance work. i used to use it on small business' that i managed during my high school years. being a contract designer. and for a short time i was contracted to do some work on a cartoon. putting all the clips together and blending it all in so it doesn't look crap. from frame to frame.
took bloody ages. if anyone wants a copy i'll send it on msn at some point
anyway....i would have loved to upgrade my PC lol
