The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

Got the Gollancz One Piece vol 1 today...hardly anywhere here had the Viz version, so I'm really pleased Gollancz are bringing it out now...it was my favourite thing in Jump when I used to get it, but I really can't remember what happened in the first few chapters, so it's all fresh again.

Bought Fruits Basket 13 & 14 from Amazon.co.jp... Should be interesting to see how much I can understand without having the translation to refer to....

Also bought Rurouni Kenshin 10. :D

Do you think you can get Invader Zim DVDs/manga?
You can only get the DVDs if you import them from America like I did. There is no manga or original graphic novel/comic. Just so you know, it's not Japanese.

Just a little FYI. You can find out information on just about anything by using Google. It's a wonderful little invention that helps you search for information that you lack the knowledge.

Just got hold of the UK release of GITS Innocence. Yes! I can finally thow out the crappy US release!
Keep both. If you have the corrected subtitles on the US release then the translation of the subs is better. The UK version is worth it for the dub alone though.

Anyway... Today I bought volume 5 of Wolf's Rain. Hopefully no more clip shows anymore.

Even if the translation is better, you have to put up with only the 'hearing impaired' subs, which did my head in. I mean, for a release as major as Innocence, how hard could it have been to sort the subs out? Not expecting a reply, i'm sure this ground has already been covered.

Sent mine off to a friend in the US and she traded it in for a none hearing impared version. Great dub and good subs; I'm all set.

Earlier today I decided to indulge in a little spend; bought the third volume of GITS: SAC 2nd Gig "goodie filled edition" ;) , Battle Athletes Victory #2-3 and not wanting the manga pile to go neglected, volume #6 of Fruits Basket.

I've been on a bit of a mad spree as well this week, ordering FMP FUMOFFU #1 on DVD - it was 'posted' today. :D

Bored of fruitless searching through countless comic bok/manga stores, I finally went online for my copies of Monster #1 and Death Note #4. Got free delivery too thanks to throwing a Delgados album into the order.

If I'm going to spend money I don't have, why pay for the postage?

Got Kenshin vol 3 and Maison Ikkoku vol 1 today; two of the three items I ordered from Play.com's 3 for £12 offer (still waiting on Fushigi Yugi vol 9; actually the only reason I got Maison Ikkoku was because I couldn't bear to order only two books when I could get a third for just £2 extra).

today i recieved my samurai deeper volumes 9, 10 and 11
man i had to order of different sites due to the lack of stock everywhere!
i also didnt want my samurai deeper volues to be very behind as it is on vol 17 or something now!
