Well I was sorting DVDs while volunteering at my local oxfam and I found cowboy bebop vol 1-4, ninja scroll, akira and eva collection 3. I am buying ninja scroll and akira straight away (I will probably upgrade akira to blu ray at some point). Looking at the prices of the other eva collections, I wont be buying that but the other 2 bebop volumes wont cost me much more than £10. If I get the bebop in the charity shop for a fiver then I have some nice collection padders and I can get the bebop blu rays at a later date or wait for the ultimate ed.

I'm still buying it and actually, I'm probably going to leave it shrink rapped ;) If I do sell it, I'll give half back. (I am assuming all the non-plat eds are the perfect ones?). If it isn't worth anything, I can still listen to the opening song legally XD.
 
Managed to snag the Hong Kong Blu-ray releases of Patlabor: The Movie 1 and 2 off eBay for £30. They're used, but it would cost me almost double that to get them new. I'm not too bothered about the cases anyway, as I plan on sticking the discs in the digipacks from the Bandai DVD Collector's Edition releases.
 
Just won an eBay auction for a Region 4 Azumanga Daioh boxset. Cost me £25 including postage which isn't bad really. It also comes with an OST CD which looks like a Japanese import. I'm not really interested in it, I just wanted the DVDs so if anyones interested in buying it from me, let me know. This is the specific CD is comes with:

I'm quite fond of the Azumanga Daioh soundtrack, although I've already got that CD (or one like it, at least). I think it was one of my early anime CD purchases, I still listen to it from time to time (or more likely, have random bits of it in my playlists).

Out of interest, why wouldn't you at least listen to it before deciding to sell it? Not that I'm saying you shouldn't sell it or anything, I just wondered if soundtracks in general aren't your thing or whatever.

If you happen to discover it's worth hundreds of pounds then let me know and I'll consider selling my copy too. Okay, maybe thousands (or maybe not even then).
 
Yeah, I'm not really a soundtrack guy. The only exception I tend to make is towards Persona 3 and 4 but that's mostly because most of the songs have lyrics. Not a huge fan of most instrumentals in general with a couple of exceptions. I probably would give it a brief skim through first, just to make sure, but I'm almost certain it probably appeal to me. I only like OST music in the context of the shows. I like OPs and EDs if they're catchy enough.
