The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

Been contemplating dead leaves for a while as I like my GL and KLK and had heard good things... but avoided it as I've been trying to stick to Blu's...

Well after my Slayers DVD I thought screw it, looked at the price... 91p + £1.26 p+p... Why the hell not...
 
Just bought Baka & Test Season 2 Blu-ray, Baka & Test OVA Collection Blu-ray, K-On Season 2 Collection 2 Blu-ray and Xam'd Lost Memories Collection 2 Blu-ray from Madman while they've still for the 20% off deal. Now to wait and hope i don't get hit by customs :lol:

I've never been hit by customs with madman as they've always labeled it as 'DVD sample' and put the value of £5 on the slip. But if you've ordered all yours together and not as separate orders then I don't know what they will do.

Yeah they did the same for when i ordered K-On Season 1 Blu-ray awhile ago so hopefully they'll do the same again.
 
I had some BDs from the States last year and they labelled them up as books because some of them came with art books and/or booklets! :D
 
Not sure they could say £5 value when you've ordered so many items. You could maybe get away with 1 or 2 but you've ordered quite a few things. I've only ordered 4 things and I think I'm probably going to get hit :p
 
Bought Freedom on Blu Ray. Was just looking on eBay and saw the LE set for £7 and thought why not. The cheapest used one on Amazon was £40 so I thought it was a bargain.

Certainly sounds like it was.
 
Not perfect condition, the slipcase (I think, not sure if it's a slip case or O card) looks a little worn at the bottom, but overall it looks fine. Definitely worth the £7 at any rate.

If it was the Limited edition set you got that was a bargain as it usually sells for more than £30. Hopefully it wasn't the Manga standard edition you got though as that's listed in the defective discs thread as having audio out of sync.

It's certainly not the Manga standard edition but I'm not sure what distributor it comes from, I can't see any logos on the front. I don't even think it's a UK release at all since there is no BBFC on the O Card. The discs are Region B though, at least according to the eBay description.

Yeah that's the LE set, looks the same as mine. I'm pretty sure it's region free though as i think Bandai/Honneamise released the same set in most countries, USA, UK, France etc, probably Japan as well. Even though there's no BBFC on the o-card, there's PG ratings on all of my discs.
