I wouldn't like to think what the box set goes for these days, although i would like to own it. How many cd's does the box set have? I've got 10 albums and the sound quality is top notch. But i don't buy bootlegs, no man in Hong Kong is getting a penny from me.

But i can see why you like Yoko Kanno so much dave, some of her work is just fantastic.

And there is only one more disk called 'Music For Freelance' but that was just a bunch of remixes. Heard it but didn't bother buying it because it wasn't that good. They were all released by Victor Entertainment so if it says on the side it was released by anyone else they may be bootlegs...

Is that the one where its got the original cast audio interlaced with the songs and the live versions? if so thats one of my favourites, just a pity i can't understand the japanese. But the live versions are great, i wouldn't expect any less than what i've heard. The Real Folk Blues live is just awesome with the long drum in and then the bass, fantastic.

I agree with you on the music for freelance, i don't like the whole radio mars theme.

I bought DeG's Vulgar album last week actually - Red...[em] is a great tune! I quite like Marmalade Chainsaw and Amber too. I still love Withering to Death though.

Other stuff that's seen plenty of play on my MP3 includes:
