Blue Exorcist: The Movie

A rather enjoyable follow up to a series I enjoyed much more than I thought I would. As always it has a likeable cast and the story throughout is rather endearing.

8/10

Attack on Titan - Handling the Female Titan arc onwards as well as they did doesn't make up for the pacing and budget issues in the first half of the series. Looking forward to them animating the rest of the manga, though. 7/10

Dog Days s.1 - A nearly purrfect voice cast trapped in a show which is truly ruff in places. 5/10

I'm not going to say much just that it's a brilliant series and must be watched if you haven't seen it.

12/10

One of my favourites

On ward to season 3

For the last 3 days I have watched:

Blue Exorcist the movie 8/10

I have seen this before when it came out in the internet :p (I have watched my BD now ) The plot aint nothing special but as a fan of the series, it was good to rewatch and see more from the franchise. The visuals are gorgeous. I hope we can see a second season in the future.

Blood-C The Last Dark 7.7/10

Another good movie and another one that I have seen a few months ago when... it came out in the internet lol (I have watched my BD now ) Way better than the series, the visuals are very good and its darker than the series and has some good action.

Eureka Seven the movie 7/10

I have watched for the first time this today and I dont think its that bad as people say. Has lots of actions, lots of information and its easy to see.

The Castle of Cagliostro 7/10

A fun movie to watch though I think it was a bit longer than it should. A pure classic than even on BD, we can see his age on the visuals and animation. Lupin its a classic though!

Kids on the Slope 9/10

Ok now this was a surprise for me. I have watched the first 3 episodes when this was airing in Japan and I have dropped after that. It was getting too much romance and I am not a fan of the genre. This year I have decided to buy the BD and I have watched this almost all in a row. Very good indeed overall.

Naruto Shippuden: The Will of Fire & The Lost Tower 6.5/10

They deliver what the movies from these shounen franchises have to. Nothing spectacular but fun and easy to watch.

And this is one of the reasons why I don't drop.anime, it's like the saying goes .......don't judge a book by its cover, or in this case don't judge til you finish it

Kill la Kill

Strangely, it's taken me until now to properly gather my thoughts on this one.

On the whole, I enjoyed Kill la Kill. There are pacing problems, the first half is much weaker than the second, and it strikes me that it tries far too hard to be clever and referential (to the point that it loses sight of straight-up entertainment), but as a defiantly old fashioned fighting series, I thought it was good fun and easily my favourite of Imaishi's works to date. Ryuko was up and down as a character, but I've really, truly missed the hot-blooded heroine as an archetype and I hope other shows will seek to emulate her.

It's not something I've thought much about since it ended, but I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Uminemko

Last episode................whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This series has potential but it just falls short because there's so many things going on.

Well it falls short because it sold like ass and didn't (probably correctly, tbh) get to finish the story. But hey-ho.

Sorry I wasn't up to doing a full review

That's the problem with it, there's so many things going on and its left with a cliff hanger and, it could of been better I honestly believe that but it just didn't do well,

The opening is a masterpiece tho and the ending is somewhat good too

Girls und Panzer (Episodes 1-12)
I dropped this series after one episode when it originally aired, but after hearing so much praise about it, I picked it up on blu-ray at Comic Con a couple of weeks ago.

Personally, this series falls into the "okay" category - it wasn't awful, but it wasn't amazing either. I loved the way some of the tank battles were shown in a first person perspective, but I felt that the series suffered from having way too many characters (was the Anteater Team really needed at all?) and I think it should have built on the relationship between Miho and her sister. I think it would have worked better as a two-cour series, so it had time to flesh that out, explore the other teams and such..

Mako is totally me as an anime girl though.

Bleach: Hell Verse 8/10

Now this was a completely good surprise. Maybe its me but I thought this was by far the best movie of the franchise. Nice scenarios, nice fights, lots of great animation (dont know whow to explain this but mostly during fights) and so on. The movie never felt like it was dragging so it was fun to watch overall.

Also, I even got some ideas for my next custom track on Trials Fusion lol

Code gaess season 1 and 2

Ok before I start I'd like to say that this series is a little over rated.......I'm not saying it's a bad series but there's some things in this series that has other series in it-

11 it feels like I'm watching a gundam series
2 it has speeches on what's right and what's wrong
3 it has scenes of seen in other anime like, a character has a power to change the world but the main character says its wrong and stops him

It's got a few anime cliches but it doesn't destroy the anime but it makes it seem like every other anime that make it seem like every other anime.

But this series has some really really good scenes and episodes and is has memorable momments like what happens to lelouch in the end and what happened to ephilia and the scenario and settings.

Lelouch I hate but sympathise with I hate what he did to his siblings and other people but his death was soooooo sad and so memorable it was original and brilliant

It's not ground braking and think it's over rated abit but it's a really good series non the less.

Animations good
Charecters some of them are great some are tragic and some are cliche
Story of good

I cried
I was shocked
I laughed
I shouted YES!!!!!!!

It's a good series worth high scores and lelouches powers are awesome it's better then a death note and I like his costume it looks awesome.

9/10 ..............I liked how it ended pretty damn good

Dragonball Season 1
9/10
Still an absolute classic!

Before watching this, I didnt really know what to expect. I was concerned that i wouldn't like it as much compared to when i was a kid. But to my surprise, it's still awesome! In fact the show still holds up INCREDIBLY well!!! The animation is superb, the comedy is really funny, the action is top notch, the characters are still lovable and the music is banging!

The first saga, The Emperor Pilaf saga, Is slow but satisfying. It introduces all the characters and shows us what the main premise of the show might be: Collecting Dragonballs! For the first saga of the show, It's reasonably good,as it has some really funny scenes and good action, but does drag in places (mainly in the end). Probably the highlight is Master Roshi's Kamehameha!

The second are is the reason why i loved Dragonball: IT'S F*****G MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENTS!!! When i said the main premise was the characters collecting Dragonballs, It's other premise are the Martial Arts Tournaments. The MAT sega is pretty self-explanitory. Goku and Krillen are taught martial arts by Master Roshi, and they enter a tournament. Here is where the REAL action begins! Each fight is a blast to watch and keeps you guessing as to who is going to win! Real tense stuff!

Overall, Dragonball is still an awesome anime that holds up really well! If you haven't seen it, than you NEED to see this! It's essential! Stop watching overrated shows like Fairy Tail and Attack On Titan (that's right i went there!) and watch a REAL anime masterpiece!

Ellcia

The story isn't bad but the character designs are weird and its another oldie but it isn't bad.

A bunch of young pirates finds a ship made by God.

It's ok
