Nice to know that the Kyoani show of the season has been picked up, so it should get a nice, quality, speedy release. PonyCan need to pick up Amaburi ASAP though.

Nice to know that Expelled from Paradise and Onii-sama are coming out so soon, although I must say I'm surprised Onii-sama isn't getting a dub considering it seems quite popular, and also the sort of show which SAO fans would go for.
Then again, after Nisekoi didn't get a dub I can't really be all that surprised. As always I'll be pre-ordering all three as soon as they become available.
Considering the emphasis on Bluray in that statement, I wonder if Aniplex are going BD only for their bigger titles whilst doing DVD for the less viable niche of the niche titles. Not that I have anything to complain about since this is really how it should be by now.

Speaking of Onii-sama, the show is being released in three parts (which I was expecting actually). Part 1: Enrollment arc (Episodes 01-07) for June, Part 2: Nine Schools Competition (Episodes 08-18) for September & Part 3: Yokohama Disturbance (Episodes 19-26) for December. Part 1 will have a retail price of $89.98 with a store price of $69.98. If the other parts are the same then I guess it's a good deal.

Rokka and Lance n Masques interest me.
I wonder if any UK licensors will be picking up Ponyo USA series or not. Otherwise it's time for some expensive imports (if I enjoy them when streaming)

It'll either be an Aniplex case where you can (generally) release a title after them for a lower albeit higher than usual for the UK price, or they'll insist that any overseas versions stick to the same pricing model. Going by JM's question on twitter and the lack of anyone licensing Denki-gai/Yuna I'm assuming that the latter is the case for their titles at the moment.

It'll be a while until those shows come out anyway, so I'll sit back and see what happens. :)
Yuki Yuna is one that I'd like to get, but not straight away.

Fandom Post is down for me so I went to check Rightstuf if there's any new information. There is.

Sword Art Online II will have a Limited Edition Blu-ray (SRP $114.98), Standard Edition Blu-ray (SRP $74.98) and Standard Edition DVD ($49.98), release date is June 30th 2015.

In addition Season 1 is being re-released on Blu-ray in four different parts (SRP $74.98 each), release date is May 12th 2015.

---

UPDATE: I've added the cover art for the three Aniplex titles on the Cover Arts thread. Sword Art Online II Limited Edition Part 1 will include the same sort of content that Season 1 had; Original Soundtrack 1, Weiβ Schwarz exclusive card, Deluxe Booklet and Postcard.

Must be a misprice on TRSI for the SAOII Part 1 Limited Edition as it's available for $70.
I think I'll wait for a UK release on this as my OCD will annoy me having season 2 different to 1. Also don't wish to spend $70 each for 4 parts. $50-$60 at most.

Not to worry, the price I've mentioned is the suggested retail price [$114.98/~£77.09]. The selling price (which Rightstuf has offered) is what you mentioned [$69.98/~£46.92].

I mean the Part 1 Limited Edition and Part 1 Standard Edition are both up for pre-order at $69.98 on TRSI. Essentially the Limited Edition is like 50% off.

EDIT: Never mind, they've changed it to the $89.98 now

And so they have, hmm.. I'm not sure if I should pre-order it or wait a while as I'm still a fair behind on Aniplex sets. I'll pre-order Expelled From Paradise at the very least, saw the English dub trailer and it sounds great.

It felt like everything was very convenient and easy to follow six months - a year ago, now it feels like we've stepped back in time to the same situation we were in with DVDs ten years ago.

So basically it's a case of buying four volumes of SAO to nab the whole season - as stated above feels like a step backward to DVD days.

Well... only because it is.

I'd much rather see se distributors and Japanese licensors focus on creating new fans and sellling to them than short sightedly looking at their bottom line.

Said HdE, in a post that surprised absolutely no-one.

Seriously though - no wonder even big shows are struggling to sell over 1000 copies in the UK these days if casual fans are priced out of the market.

That's a shame they're not keeping the same ones as the game as I thought they did a great job with it - but ah well, looks like a pretty solid list anyway.
