Another major panel in which I figured would be worth mentioning on this section.

While Anime Limited will soon be releasing their first Gundam title Mobile Suit Gundam here in the UK at the end of November, the folks over in the US have a bunch of titles in their pockets and at New York Comic Con's Sunrise panel, Rightstuf and Sunrise have announced the Gundam shows that they are planning on releasing in 2016! Let's take a look and see the possible titles that Anime Limited could end up releasing next year...

UPDATE: Sunrise have also announced that their latest Gundam title Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will receive an English language dub courtesy of Bang Zoom! Entertainment. The dub will be available in early 2016.

Rightstuf have already released Turn A Gundam and have scheduled Mobile Suit Gundam and the Turn A Gundam: Movie Collection (I: Earth Light, II: Moonlight Butterfly) for later this year with the Mobile Suit Gundam: Movie Trilogy (I, II: Soldiers of Sorrow, III: Encounters in Space) scheduled for early 2016.

You can currently pre-order Mobile Suit Gundam: Part 1, Mobile Suit Gundam Part 2 and Gundam Reconguista in G: Part 1, all on Blu-ray, over on Amazon UK, Shop All the Anime and other respective UK retailers.

Worth noting that AL has said they've been asked to remain consistent with the US where possible, so chances are the UK will be following a similar order (but Andrew has said we won't be getting the MSG movie trilogy because it tanked for BEEZ). I believe Rec G was done under a separate deal for AL, which is probably why we're getting it well ahead of America.

Anyway, Build Fighters is excellent and I'd definitely be down for a blu-ray or DVD of it. I'm assuming it'll be DVD-only, but I can hope... :)

Really happy that gundam build fighters may be a 2016 release here in the UK. One of the gundam titles I really want to watch. I guess we know what's coming at comic con this month :)

You know it's all up on YouTube in 720p for free right, as long as you can put up with a toy commercial after the OP and another before the next episode preview...

Im not a mega anime viewer, more an anime home media fan, so literally only watch titles when they're on home media. Have no desire to stream anime at any point. I'll just watch what the studios release on bd/dvd

I don't think it will get a blu-ray release, Nozomi/RightStuf seem to be more careful about what they give blu-ray releases to, and Anime Ltd. have been told they can only do a blu-ray when Nozomi do. I doubt Sunrise will dub it, so that probably reduces the likelihood of a blu-ray even further.

Okay - thoughts on this (now that I'm done frothing at the mouth and pawing at my screen).

Zeta Gundam is a skip for me unless it's available in the UK at some point on Blu Ray. I'm about to embark on a re-watch of my Bandai box sets, hich I've heard may have suffered from some disc rot issues. But if they're still playable, I see no need to ugrade.

ZZ and X are instabuys.

Build Fighters and TRY are VERY welcome surprises, though! I'll most definitely be picking those up.

Only a couple of nitpicky reservations: On is that there's no mention of Victory Gundam in this update, which was previously mentioned. The other is that this is a LOT of Gundam to be put out in one year. Which is no bad thing in itself. I just wonder if the number of releases this will constitute (I'm theorizing each series will amount to two collections apiece) might be a lot for fans to shell out for financially.

So here's hoping they're all kept in print and avaialable for a good while.

News of a dub for Iron Blooded Orphans is AWESOME, though! And that speaks well to the chances of a home video release down the line.

Eh. Doesn't really bother me if these shows are dubbed or subbed, to be honest.

I do appreciate it when they're dubbed just because it makes it so much easier to soak up all the robot goodness on screen. But mostly I'll take Gundam how I can get it.

I can see why Build Fighters isn't being dubbed, they can't air it on UK TV, it's questionable about US TV, and it's probably not going to be a huge seller on home video...

As I said about Turn-A, I'd buy ZZ and X in a heartbeat. I still have the Zeta DVDs from the states, so unless this is an original series style Blu-ray upgrade I won't be interested in it.

Build Fighters I've never really looked into.

Still don't get why Turn A got a DVD release when a BR has came out in Japan i hope EVERY Gundam that has a BR in Japan gets on over here so build fighters included as ATA wont license many DVD only.

I'm down for everything essentially. I'm assuming this is what we'll be getting at MCM, the Gundam portion directed as UK relevant.

It's kind of a shame they seemingly can't air BF, I think if you got that on say CN or Nick it'd do quite well. I'd worry about Try but then kids here ate up the likes of Bakugan.

Hoping we get news on the other UC stuff and Turn A.
Season blu-ray sets for 00 would be awesome.

I have no idea which of these series are good or bad but I'd be interested in watching some more Gundam in the future. I enjoyed most of Seed despite several issues so I'd be willing to try out some more so BD releases would be cool.

My advice is to not read too much into people saying which series are good. Gundam fans tend to gush about the ones they love and burn the ones they don't. I'd suggest using Wikipedia as a guide for series story details and going from there. When I was just starting out everyone told me G sucked but I really wanted to see it. I did and hold it as one of my favourites. Don't risk losing out on what grabs you.

This is good advice. Remember that everything on the internet is either wonderful or horrible. Speaking for myself, I don't think I've ever met a Gundam show I didn't like on some level.

I'll also say that G Gundam is a LOT of fun! I only saw it maybe 4 years back, I think. But once you go shining finger, you can never go back.
