Also, you'd be hard pressed to find many anime with more than one season under the same title. For various reasons which I have forgotten, sequels are almost inevitably renamed even if they are direct continuations, Code Geass R2, FMP Second Raid, Black Lagoon Second Barrage, Trigun Maximum,

If they're named differently that's a second series, rather than a second season.

That not happening after an extended break is the exception (e.g. this, Haruhi, and Cardcaptor Sakura).

Seasons are more associated with the long runners, which need sub-division for boxsets. Normaly 26 or 52 episodes or by plot arc.

I didn't want to bring in a US show, but they are three seasons, all with different titles. It's not THAT uncommon. If it's too problematic, we can just all start saying "skein".

Isn't that what we're all saying? The Japanese wiki entry even splits up the ep list into "first season" and "second season".

I'm saying there's two seasons (the Big O eps1-13, and 14-26), others are saying there's two series (the Big O 1-13 and the Big O II 1-13).

If that's what you're saying now, then I agree. But before you said:

There's only 1 season though, which has 26 eps, half of it was broadcast 2 years earlier than the other though. Same as with Haruhi, reaired with extra episodes..

So, uh, which smart ass thought it was a good idea to print the Outlaw Star AL with the old R1 DVDs (And don't think no one is going to notice the hard-subs, same damn ones on the CNX airing) instead of the Remasters?

Why did this magically illicit a higher RRP?

The only reason I can't totally bitch this out is the fact that it's the only release Outlaw Star has gotten in the UK and that really takes my HP to one.

I had a feeling that was the case. Probably something to do with there being no response to the repeated questions about whether the remastered materials were used.

Mess up, dub hasn't been anounced here or in the USA. There's no Animax Asia one for them to use either.

Mess up, dub hasn't been anounced here or in the USA. There's no Animax Asia one for them to use either.

Ughr, I asked them ages ago (Jan/Feb I think), and they said look for a reprint soon.

Since then, no sign of it at all.

Also, what's happening with the Durarara boxset w/ dub? I didn't hear any news from expo about it.

If it wasnt for the fact that the US licensed DRRR which included a dub a week or so after Beez announced it, i would have most likely supported Beez's initial Sub-Only releases. Just a bit of a shame it was bad timing in the end
