Forgive me if this is old news, but Beez, why the is Cowboy Bebop Remix not available? Any chance of that coming back into stock, please?
Ughr, I asked them ages ago (Jan/Feb I think), and they said look for a reprint soon.

Since then, no sign of it at all.

Also, what's happening with the Durarara boxset w/ dub? I didn't hear any news from expo about it.

Sorry folks been travelling a lot.

Bebop - I am chasing, I expect AL set before London Expo October but we'll see.

DRR I'm pressing for but there'll be a dubbed boxset by next year I believe. It's definitely happening anyway, with assets out there it would be a bad move not to do so.

A hybrid boxset of Durarararararararara (It's like banananana, I never know when to stop spelling it) would be a day one purchase for me. Especially if the subtitle issues in the sub only sets that some people commented on were addressed.

Still happening, just being planned out now. Won't got to Anime Legends immediately either - will instead get a nicer release with dub first - different to the US release too.
Interesting. So will you be doing an upgrade, and if so how will that work?

And regarding Bebop, does the impending Anime Legends release spell the end of the snazzy digipack? I knew I should have had one of those while I had the chance. Actually, seeing as it's sold out everywhere I'd imagine there's a still a market for a more "premium" Bebop release... so any chance of a reprint? :p

so wait they release the sub of durarara and now there telling us there releasing them in english audio...............bloody hell wish i knew this before i brought the single sets

Actually, they told us this when Durarara was licenced, sub only release first, dub release later. Admittedly it isn't good for people who are out of the loop, the assumption is that people who are interested will keep an eye on press releases.

It was the same with The Lord of The Rings movies. When it came to releasing them, Peter Jackson announced straight off the bat that the theatrical versions would come first, and that there would be extended editions later.

Then six months later when the Extended Editions appeared, all those fans who don't pay attention to press releases were annoyed.

Awesome! I'm looking forward to them :D

Also, what's next for the Anime Legends line?
Code Geass R2 and The Big O II are shows I'm hoping for an Anime Legends release, but what about shows from other companies that have shut down (ie ADV and Revelation)?
I'd love to see the likes of the original Evangelion series back in print, but Manga don't seem interested.

Don't worry. They announced this ages ago. Before you were here.

i know this is a Beez Entertainment Discussion thread but why dont we have a manga Entertainment Discussion (there the leading party that releases anime over here )or a mvm Entertainment Discussion ( even tho we haven't heard from hmv for a very long time and there saying there making a comeback) thread. is it cause andrew is the only representatives from a big company like beez or is it something else?

Yep, that's exactly why. Andrew is now with Kaze so we could always set up a Kaze thread if needed. The other companies don't have reps here at the moment so any questions/news would be the normal speculation.

shame really if a representative of other companys was on here it would be more helpful to both the companys and fans

We were close to getting Jerome or someone on here at some stage, even had a thread but there was a pretty big Manga backlash at the time. This place isn't nice to the company.

Which f-up was it that time.
They don't exactly have a reputation for ever fixing errors, or actualy releasing the shows they've anounced.

The amount of bile spat at tiny companies (or tiny sub-divisions of larger companies) trying to support a nearly non-existent market really is incredible at times.

Sometimes I think they are just doing the best with what few resources they have, and that fans should just take a step back and chill out a little.

I'm glad that the website is getting a facelift, I was worried that Beez had curled up and died as they were so quiet.
