K-on! (highly posible), Bakemonogatari (it is streamed by Bandai Chanel) would be awsome. Toaru Majutsu no Index would be the other that comes to mind.
 
Animax? The channel that we don't get? That license wouldn't concern us... or the US surely. Broadcast rights and DVD rights are different beasts entirely. Unless I'm missing something.
 
That will be an E Asia TV sub release somewhere, correct. I think they were listed as licensor for FMA (2009) as well.
SE Asia and everywhere else in the world rights are generaly on a totaly differnet basis too.
 
Are Beez really silly enough to licence K-ON!?

Surely it would sell about eight copies over here, and cost three billion rupees to licence?
 
Haruhi Season 2 is already licensed in the US so i doubt its that

My guess it would either be Bakemonogatari, K-On or Index. Possibly Needless aswell? (considering its almost like Gurren). But it might also be the Macross series?

Actually, thinking about Bakemono, i dont believe that has finished airing yet lol
 
Nah, last BD release of Bakemono was put back until the start of June. :lol:

Also, NO WAY will it be Macross, because I would never recover from the excitement.
 
Macross is well known to be tottaly impossible due to Harmony Gold, Haruhi 2 is licensed (didn't Manga get it here).
"Moe"* shows do do well, and we do have a lack of them here. Clannad is doing very well for neo-ADV, Beez did well with Haruhi corect?

Yep SHAFT are still making Bakemono, got 1 ep left. Could probably survive being sold expensive though, especially if they release the BD version. SHAFT shows tend to be fairly accesible due to being massively styleised. (my little sister has abducted my Negima!?)
I gather Beez's own subs (the french etc.) are better than Bandai ent ones.

that rules out gundam, k-on, Haruhi, Macross, Negima, Clannad and Bakemonogatari.
 
Then Index & Needless should be considered as a possibility then? Another few that hasnt been mentioned yet is Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Canaan, Chaos;Head, Chrome Shelled Regios, Ga-Rei and Kara no Kyoukai (and thats just recent shows)

K-On! is licensed in english in India and SE Asia not the US.
Bakemono is still unlicensed.
Lots of Gundam is unlicensed e.g double Zeta, X, Turn-A.

This is halfway correct, as I understand it. Some of the shows are licensed - just not for the UK. Zeta, The 08th Team, Stardust Memory OVA, original series, G-Gundam (and, I'm sure, others) are available in the States. I'd really like to see those titles made available here.

I don't think Turn A, Victory, ZZ or X are licensed anywhere in the West (don't quote me, though) - and that's a crying shame.

Not sure what the deal is with oddities like MS Igloo or SD Gundam.

Gundam is just THE franchise that is criminally under-supported in the West, especially in the UK, it seems. WE NEEDS MOAR, PLEEZ!

Ah thanks Mae, I wasn't sure if it was given a release or just kept online to stream. I wouldn't mind seeing it myself as i've heard good things about it and i like the design of the Strike Noire

Be fair, A wakening of Trailblazer isn't even out in Japan yet =P that leaves at least a year until it's licensed in the US (i'd guess)
