Autumn 2015 Legal Anime Streaming Thread

Hmm, what I should've said is : Presumably a growing relationship with Funi.

From an outsider perspective, you'd think there was a growing relationships. Call me silly or whatever but I do feel there's something there, with Anime Limited being the main providers of Funi titles here in the future, be it through trying or just the way the hats fallen & I just cannot picture future AOT projects being cut off from the UK.

I know it's all speculation but it's those feelings you get sometimes! I could be totally wrong, you never know :p

I'm just saying that for all we know Andrew Partridge and FUNimation's buyers just have similar tastes. There's no actual evidence any of their shared titles were provided by FUNimation. Except for The Rolling Girls, which FUNimation held UK simulcast rights for, there are perfectly acceptable alternate explanations for all of the shared titles.

Concrete Revolutio is now a delaycast in the UK, seriously FUNimation? Go **** yourselves, stupid pricks...

Do FUNimation not realise how despised they are outside the US? "We're working on it" is not good enough, especially when you are forcibly delaying other people's attempts to legally stream your series. It's like FUNimation actively want us to pirate their shows, and that the fact that they've pulled this **** on the second most anticipated show of the season just shows what they really think of us.

Edit: Should probably clarify that it's clearly FUNi's doing because the full list of delayed territories is North, Central, Latin America, Iceland, Ireland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand.

By what measure? It was 19th out of Plan to Watch figures on MAL as of last Sunday, though 11th excluding sequels.

Although of course they shouldn't be doing this for anything.

It was personal judgement, original-wise the shows that have been the most buzzy were One-Punch Man, then Concrete Revolutio, then probably Heavy Object but it gets a bit more tricky than that.

Clearly I was wrong, I don't follow MAL's lists because their community seems a bit weird to me. (The Rampo Kitan threads slaughtered the show, but if you looked at the episode polls, responses were mostly positive.)

Daisuki and GundamInfo's YouTube will share the première, then Crunchyroll (and FUNimation in the US) will air it on a delaycast 1 week later.

I was sure I seen it wouldn't be on our CR in this very post, must have imagined it.

But that's great, I don't mind waiting for it on Crunchyroll, give me a reason to actually use my sub tbh.....

Not necessarily, Gundam announced it would be on Crunchyroll in North America first and then more territories were added a day or two later. I'm guessing you saw the first announcement, but missed the second.

I think I'm just going to wait for Crunchyroll to start their delaycast for Gundam - even if it means watching it a week late, it'll be preferable to Daisuki's awful player that still doesn't work on my iPad.
