Is it normal for the 2003 fma Blu-rays to have a fbi warning on them as they’re a uk release Im curious because I got a used copy of the 2020 collector set

If there's a US version of a release already out it's much cheaper to just copy what's out there into discs that are branded with AL or MVM. The Haibane Renmei blu-ray I recently watched had the same warning, but the MVM branding and the BBFC rating are on them.

Anyone else get a dispatch email for Lonely Castle in the Mirror on Wednesday (15th), but there has been no movement since- i.e. it hasn't even been collected by Royal Mail yet?

Mine arrived yesterday so just give it a bit of time I'd say.

On that note, it's really good. Nice box for it but even the bluray box inside is a nice touch.

Ironically, I finally got the "we have your parcel" email from Royal Mail yesterday afternoon, advising that it should be here tomorrow. Odd on the delay though still...

Kinda offtopic @teetoni and @Hanners

If you ever do an Ultimate Edition Gundam set again (Like your Seed/Seed Destiny)

Would you ever look at talks with Bandai to get some Gundam Workshop kits as an exclusive MCM bonus? (Or even a HG kit for Gundam sale over £100/150?)

Or even work with Gundam Mad like Manga UK used to do and share a stand?

Gundam Mad seem to have been chased away from MCM by Bandai having an increasingly larger presence. Seriously, actually promoting their anime brands has slowly morphed into their own little village.

Last time I saw Gundam Mad was at TFNation last August. In a dealer room full of Transformers they basically dominated on Gunpla. Reminded of how Kapow Toys used to be regulars at MCM too but haven't been going since Hasbro likewise started doing their own village of them and handpicked UK retailers.

Also announced that they have Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen (afaik nobody has released that on BD in English) and Onyx Equinox (The CR cartoon that Sentai released on BD).

Some titles there I'll be picking up, but I do wish they extended the early bird windows (from 7 days to about 14-28 days) to take advantage of the £50 free shipping cap. I don't mind ordering multiple items together and waiting longer but that's just me, curious if others have a similar opinion or so.

Some of the EB periods do overlap for the February slate, plus the Naruto CE is over £50 by itself and Bleach (2004) can be had for the cheapest possible price on release if you're an AU member and have purchased the previous sets. However, I can see how it would be a problem if they were just regular pre-orders with no discounts, and if you're not interested in the overlapping offering.

It would be cool if I could postpone my order from shipping until the EB for Slam Dunk CE started, for example (and add it to my existing shipment), but perhaps there are operational and technical issues with doing something like that on AL's end. It is what it is at the end of the day and I'll do my best to combine orders where I can, if not, I'll just have to eat the £3.50 fee on occasion.

I think the biggest issue caused by the postage costs is that it means the value of the 10% off perk for members is reduced, but the yearly membership cost has remained the same. I've said it previously elsewhere; but a tiered membership system like Crunchyroll have could be a good idea for Anime Limited, where the higher tiers of membership get a reduced free shipping threshold as a perk.

Is anyone ever interested in GATE?
I bought the limited edition long ago but I can't bring myself to watch it so I sold it a few years later.

Loved Gate but do not see any reason to replace my existing copy. Didn't realise it's disappeared from sale.
Put the Wagner on.

Like a sports anime but men playing basketball?
I'll watch Ro-Kyu-Bu again. 😇

Maybe the Armour Shop, I'll look that up.
