The French edition may have fancier (I like!) packaging, but people do tend to complain about shape and size of AL’s UE and CE, so the conservative release is somewhat understandable if they’re only doing an LE and standard.

I don't think anyone's petitioning for it to be split into 2 CE releases like the French version but the artwork used on those releases is far, far, far FAR! superior and would've been better than the art they used for both the art box and the amaray cases (god they're bad...).
They could use the argument 'this is all we were supplied' but as with the French release they already have that artwork and its been approved by the licensor for use by them

It's just genuinely weird. AL seem to pick the worst most unappealing artwork recently Eminence in Shadow, Parasyte, putting the worst girl on Rent A Girlfriend YEAH I SAID IT!!
