UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

I'm using mpc-qt at the moment. I can't stand how MPV looks.
MPC with madVR is not bad but less efficient than MPV with vulkan as the gpu-api. My GPU power consumption with MPV is around 20-25w and with MPC it's at around 50w which makes my GPU fans start to spin occasionally.

MPC-QT is a Qt implemention using libmpv but recreates the MPC layout.

If you're using 64-bit VLC, use libmmbd64.dll instead.

Tried that and still no luck. It's not picking up the DLL it seems, still throwing me a message about how it can't see the decoding DLL.

Tried both 32 and 64 bit version of the DLL to no avail.

Is it configurable with a config file and does it have the same shortcuts as mpv?

doesn't support the config file way. It has an options menu to configure the backend.

It doesn't have the same keybindings, but they are fully bindable so you could rebind all the keybindings in mpc-qt to be that of mpv.

Bummer, I usually just copy over my mpv folder when setting it up since you don't even need to install it.

Try installing the Key Database and the AACS dynamic library:

VLC Blu-Ray

The AACS dynamic library is a different version of 'libaacs.dll' that can only boot discs that have an entry in the Key Database. You can open up the Key Database in a text editor to see if there's an entry for a disc that you own.

If that works, try replacing 'libaacs.dll' with a renamed 'libmmbd.dll' again.

That did the trick! Many thanks :D

Speaking of, new trailer.

Definitely seems to be a one off movie, there's a card that near as I can translate says "The first original UC Gundam movie since F91 27 years ago." (They did something similar with the 00 movie, highlighting it was the first non-compilation movie in ages).

If it gets a theatrical release here assume it won't be until 2019.
Hey, my translation was right!

I will add to my dream imports as UC is my fav fav gundam by miles and the OST Is a nice bonus. But I doubt ill ever own it as Nozomis UC set is good as when I started watching I thought those import sets (The ep ones) would be the only way to watch it in HD.
