I haven't been charged import duty on anything I've bought from overseas so far, whether it's been from Play-Asia or not. I've found Play-Asia to be a pretty good and quick retailer.

I'm glad it's making it onto English shores, I've already enjoyed the series but I'd love to see a high-quality version of it with a good English dub - I needed a good reason to start spending a few pennies to help save the anime industry :P

Funnily enough, I was looking through a 'pattern' book and thinking "Hey, this isn't vastly dissimilar to manga illustrations" - good to see somebody putting it into practice!

Reminds me of a course I went on, when we were going round the group and doing introductions everyone was suprised there was four of us who liked anime - I was suprised too! Everyone else was groaning but we were happy.

Unfortunately what my colleagues call anime isn't good reading, so I won't put it here :P basically it either gets called Pokemon, pornography or both! And the annoying thing is they've never watched a minute of 'proper' anime in their lives - so what gives them the right to judge it like that...

I'll second Lovely Complex, that was a great romantic comedy. I'd also suggest Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi - suitable wacky humour with a myriad of settings and OTT characters :)
