Well, the press release staes "This restored edition also features the original U.S. voice actors as well as the original FUNimation soundtrack – all in lossless Dolby® TrueHD." Which says to me that it will have the Faulconer music, although, we shall see at the time.
Got all the rest of mine despatched today. All in separate e-mails, but still. Also got Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 posted the other day from them for just over £29. :D
I watch all my stuff on my new 1080p TV (and before that, 720p). I just give it the old FFDshow and AMD 6870 treatment and everything looks wonderous. My Philips Upscaling DVD player does a good job too.
I have a Blu-Ray player and HDTV and yes, I do tend not to buy DVDs any more, especially from Funimation as they keep doing Blu-Ray sets later. From other companies though, I still buy some DVDs.
8Mb advertised, but about 6.9 at best in reality. Fine for streaming HD if its performing well. In saying that, no, I don't stream anime, I hate it. I like my anime in a pre-downloaded or disc form etc, so I can direct it to my TV and add any cleanup (sharpening, colour etc.) as I wish. Also...
Most of the Ghibi/Ghibli-esque "all that" artsy films by *insert acclaimed director here* aren't all they are cracked up to be, most of them are good, but nothing more.
