Lupin's Fujiko e.4 - Can't decide if this makes me more or less confident about my theory for the series' set up ^^; Either way, this is still the other side of excellent.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 - Episodes 10 - 13 [Final]

The second half of the series was excellent and came to a great conclusion filling in some of the gaps between First and Zeta.

watching collection 4 discs 2 and 3 of one piece tomorrow so far its awesome.
chopper is introduced, hes a little annoying but il have to wait and see if he kick ass in later episodes.

^_^ awesome

TINY MINE SKIRTS! - 04

I'm quite liking the new Zenigata with added "Tough '70s Cop" traits - Yet he still ends up on the receiving end of one of Lupin's pranks (and gets a door in the face) so thankfully they're not trying to make him deadly serious. That, I think, would have been a real mistake. I'm less sure about the shoehorning in of ambiguously gay pretty-boy Oscar though.

These plots continue to be excellent for 20-odd minute episodes - They can manage to pack in a good story and the pace never feels off either. I'm thinking more and more that this would be an excellent choice for a UK release - History shows that outside of Shonen fighting shows, we tend to like our anime a bit more "adult" (both in terms of storytelling and content) and this show would certainly fit the bill. Somebody get on it!

Sakamichi no Apollon 3 - This was a pretty fantastic episode. The music keeps on getting better and better as the series progresses, and it feels like it's deliberately getting better too, if that makes sense. I loved the piano piece at the end of this episode.

Mine Fujiko and the man called Lupin III 4 - Very much has felt like it's been introducing each character then going full in with the series. Sure, Lupin is a bit less of a focus in this series, but it works. Just as ayase says, its pacing doesn't feel off and the plot for it feels like i'd hope for. I quite liked the theme it took as well, The Phantom of the Opera is a nice idea, even if it only has some similarities. The fact it's also a To Be Continued is good, i think we'll be getting more history on Fujiko as well, considering that weird flash-back we got at the end of the episode

Most recently I watched this trailer. I really enjoyed it! It's for an anime called PES that will be coming out in May apparently, and I love Studio 4C, who is making it. It looked very nicely animated. Here it is: http://bit.ly/PESNaSuBi

Other than that, I've watched Zetman 03 and Lupin the Third - The Woman Called Fujiko Mine 01.

I would go more with "ambiguously ambiguous". :)

Tsuritama e.3 and Sakamichi no Apollon e.3 - Well, that made for an emotional Thursday double bill. I was expecting it from Apollon, not so much from Tsuritama. Tsuritama seems to be building up into a more interesting overall series than I expected, but Sakamichi, whilst it also has that aspect to some degree, has a far more immediate "must see next episode now" appeal to it. Must have been a nightmare reading the manga and only getting chapters every month!

Kid on the Slope ep 1 Pretty good. The three central characters are all immediately likeable, and the presentation/animation is top notch. I'm now expecting Kaoru to transform into a fully blown Japanese Monk by the end of the series :)

Open hostility towards Fujiko (as if that weren't enough on its own), irritable temperament while she is f*cking Zenigata and concern for him bordering on devotional... Well I'm willing to call it now, Oscar is totally gay for Zenigata.

My point being that I am not convinced that Oscar is a "he". :)

The novels don't seem to have finished in Japan, but since they are actual mystery novels rather than LNs, they are not produced at a particularly great rate (the author has other series and one-off volumes that have come along since the Kotenbu series started with Hyouka in 2001).

Hmm, I quite like the sound of that actually. Sounds like it wouldn't break the bank regularly for me then. And I do feel like treating myself to something nice...

Jormungand ep 3

Quite liked this part in the manga, although running out in the open like that is stupid. Enjoying this a lot and loving Shizuku Itou as Koko.

Kara No Kyoukai Movie 1

I wanted to make this more of a thing. One a night for the span of a week, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to find the time for that so i'm going to do one a week. I only got around to Movie 3 the first time anyway. I love the atmosphere, Yuki Kaijura soundtrack and...well...All of it really.
