Oscar is the name of the main character of Rose of Versailles, one of the most famous and dashing manly women in the history of manga/anime.

It is as Rui says, and that Oscar already had some crossover with Lupin previously, so this could be a call-back to that.
Well if that is the case, it would be rather embarrassing if I couldn't manage to detect it, wouldn't it?
I blame the fact that those characters look too girly to actually be reverse traps for throwing me off.

Mysterious Girlfriend X episode 4.

Interesting installment. I wasn't sure what Oka's motives were going to be, but she definitely seems to be an intriguing new character. It's certainly re-engaged my interest after a somewhat lacklustre episode last week.

Hyouka episode 2 - The first episode, I felt I was getting bored but it still held my attention, thankfully this next episode was a bit more engaging, I love the animation techniques were they explian the theories.

It will be interesting to see where Hyouka goes now, since it left us on a sudden revelation, wanting me to watch the next episode. Still no where near the best of the season at the moment but it has potential.

Also Kyoto Animation, yes I know that Chitanda is moe & mysterious, can you please stop with the close-ups to her face, thanks.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - Episode 29

So the final chapter begins and it gets off to a decent start, the AGE-3 Gundam reminds me a lot of the Double Zeta Gundam, it has that same cool bulky look.

Moribito 20 -26 (End) I loved this show and I want more. There inst more

Princess Jellyfish - 1 -2
I think this is the first time I have ever identified with an anime character. about 10 years ago I was like that.

It does, yeah. Has a very ZZ feel to it. I wonder if that's going to be something we get hints at throughout the arc, much like how we had SEED throughout arc 2 and the original in arc 1. I still feel the second arc ended a little quickly, but there we go. I kinda have this feeling that i know how this arc will end, as cheesy as it is. Asemu will re-appear near the end, all three will team together, and end it all. happy ending. It's level-5, i expect no less

So i've watched a fair bit the past two-three days.

Hyouka 2 - The first episode was very much enjoyable, but fell slightly flat near the end, this episode feels a lot better throughout and tells me that it just needed to get it's feet of the ground. So i'm looking forward to continuing this one.

Moretsu Pirates 9 - 17 - So i got myself caught up with this series yesterday and i'm glad i did. It's a nice series, nothing i'd take too seriously, which makes it more enjoyable. Nothing really spectacular about the series, but it does't need to be.

Gaiking 1-5 - Started this about 2-3 days ago since i needed some kind of mecha fix. It's probably my first "Super" mech series in many ways, and i believe my first Go Nagai series i've properly watched. Very monster of the week at the moment, but it's good fun. Also, that opening is awesome. Considering either going for Mazinkaiser/Mazinger Z or GaoGaiGar after it.

I'm becoming fairly certain that Hyouka is eye porn.

Really enjoyed episode 2 myself, although...that ending. I fear i've become rather jaded when I first thought of it that way. Still, I get the feeling the cliffhanger won't really come to much, apart from maybe setting up the next mystery, especially as we're only 2 episodes in.

Jormungand ep 4

Yep, really enjoyed this as well. Felt this episode adapted the manga a bit better than the last one.

Throwing my hat into the ring for GaoGaiGar, with a warning. For the first, roughish, 20 episodes it's very much monster of the week flavour. But it's necessary monster of the week. As soon as you hit the mid-twenties monster of the week stops and an absolutely amazing over-arcing plot begins. I've heard it described as a "kids show," but hot damn if it wasn't one of my favourite guilty pleasures. Once it hits that arc it just does not stop going from strength to strength.
