Jormungand ep 3

Quite liked this part in the manga, although running out in the open like that is stupid
Yeah, that... just flat-out didn't work well when animated (I haven't read the manga, but it's a format better suited to scenes like that). The show has bowled me over so far, but this particular scene was so far protracted that it even pushed up against my formidable suspension of disbelief boundaries.

Zetman e.4 - I don't know what's happening, I don't even know if anything is happening. This seems to be totally aimless and overhyped, dropped.

Queen's Blade Rebellion e.4 - Possibly one of the silliest ideas behind an episode ever, which is saying something for this franchise, but actual plot development, too, to keep things on track.

KoreZom? OTD e.4 - Like last week a very missable episode, but this one was a lot funnier. A little dere goes a long way, however, so this amount can get quite dangerous.

Natsuiro Kiseki e.4 - Idea: Standard. Execution: Excellent+. Did I mention that Yuka is The Best already? One of the best eps of any show so far this season.

Shining Hearts e.3 - Any additional female characters for this show is a good thing, and nicely wrapped up in both some back story and what seems to be the start of the "real" story, too.

Nadia e.3 - Nadia getting "on message" for the first time, I guess, which is what a lot of people don't like so much? I always give her a pass on account of [interview terminated].

Sankarea e.4 - Dat underboob, dat... well, quite a lot really. They seem to have made her too stacked now, though, which is a shame. And then they hit you with the forearm check to the temple in the last three minutes, which was a little more serious and considered than I expected the series to get at this stage - even after the stuff with her father (which is upsetting, but has been handled before in other shows) this feels more original and no less of a pressing concern.

Can't remember exactly what happend at that point in the manga, but I most certainly didn't feel angry unlike when I watched it in the anime. I don't remember it being that stupid though!

Natsuiro Kiseki 1

Ooo pretty. Ooo melodrama. Ooo sphere. I'm onboard!

"Ach, mein Fujiko!" - ep4

I'm with ilmaestro on this one. I'm not yet ready to dismiss the notion that Oscar is female, especially given the choice of name.

Of all the episodes so far though, I think this one probably most resembles the previous tv series, albeit with far more sophisticated writing and artwork. Don't think I enjoyed it quite as much as the previous two, but it was still a lot of fun and points should be awarded for making Zenigata more of a badass and less of an outright buffoon. Fujiko sleeping with him in a bid to get out of prison was a bit unexpected, but again it's probably more in line with the original manga. From what I hear, the comedy gender symbols are certainly a reference back to that.

That flashback also seems to support my notion (based on the ED) that Fujiko was a teen prostitute in this version, but it's rather psychedelic nature suggests there may be a bit more to it than any Taxi Driver-style shennanigans.

tl;dr: This show is glorious :D

Lupin III: 'Dat Fujiko episode 4

So not even Zenigata can resist Fujiko's body?. That flashback was also really cool albeit brief, I couldn't help but be reminded of the witch screens from Madoka Magica.

Did I blink and miss some big giveaway here or is this just a hunch you guys have?
Also Oscar is a feminine name? That one clearly passed me by, all I can think of is the award, and the grouchy, bin dwelling Sesame Street Muppet.

Spoiler tags for the discussion of Fujiko's show even though I haven't seen it:

Oscar is the name of the main character of Rose of Versailles, one of the most famous and dashing manly women in the history of manga/anime.

It is as Rui says, and that Oscar already had some crossover with Lupin previously, so this could be a call-back to that.

For some reason I had just kind of dismissed the ED as just a bit of an arty homage to some French (or other European) photographer (or other sort of artist) that I didn't recognize, but that would actually make a lot of sense.

I've got to admit, I'm really enjoying watching you all pick out different names for it. It's actually highly entertaining and I'm getting a good chuckle out of some of the creative names! Bit sad that I didn't pick this up to be honest, The Secret of Mamo was the first anime I ever watched and it got me interested in the genre, so Lupin has a special place in my heart. Maybe I'll catch up at some point...

Natsuiro Kiseki 2

...Don't know if it's just cause I might be getting a bit cynical but...undertones...everywhere...? Still, this is turning out to be a cute series!

Tsuritama ep1 and 2 A fun little show. It's got more than enough colour and oddball humour to stand out and keep you interested, so far. Though, after the second ep I felt it might be erring slightly on quirky side a tad too much for my liking, or maybe it was just the fact that I found the alien siblings a little annoying. I'll stick with it for now, and I think small doses of it on CR is probably the best way for me to take a show like this.

You and me ep 1 I could only get through about 15 minutes before I turned it off. I found the character to be lacking any sort of charm (especially the portentous twins), and the whole thing just plain bored me. Not a good way to start a show. Unless anyone can vouch for the fact that I'll be missing out on something quite good, I shall not be continuing with this.

Space Brothers ep 1 and 2 Definitely made up for the disappointment of the last show, the first two ep's delivered on all fronts. The two brothers (especially Mutta) are very likeable and it's quite well written so far, I also like its visual style. Will definitely be watching more.

You are, but going on your reaction to what you've watched you still won't like it if you carry on.
