It seems decent, but I find the main girl kind of annoying. She reminds me too much of Nadia.
I'm up to episode 3 and feel the same way about the serious plot developments. The premise and most of the happenings of first three episodes are just too farcical to make it work. I was expecting the show to be all-out comedy but it looks as though the humour will be receding farther and farther into the background as the series progresses.Professor Irony said:The Devil is a Part-Timer ep1-2
'Satan works at McDonalds' turns out surprisingly low-key and sensible, given its premise. So far, it's derived a lot of humour from offsetting its bizarre setup against the characters' logical behaviour, but it's never really delivered any big laughs for me. The second episode also brought in a couple of more serious plot developments whose worth I'm not sure of. I'll give it at least another episode anyway.
Sadly as far as i know the OVA has never seen the light of day in the UK since the VHS days, would be great little release for the UK market, the region 1 dvds are still quiet easy to get hold of though.animefreak17 said:I thought the ova wasn't released over here?
