Honestly, the only episodes worth watching are eps 3+4.

Considering how Shakugan no Shana S was hyped as a bridge between II and III, I thought it was really disappointing. To be honest, I wish they'd used the time instead to focus on the Four Gods of the Earth, Sale and Chiara, Hyakki Yakou and hell, the Snake of the Festival. That would have been an incredibly useful bridge between Shana II and III.
