From Wikipedia,
There is also a compilation movie (Blue Gender: The Warrior) available on DVD with an alternative ending.

Personally I don't think the movie is a good as the series as things seem more rushed (a problem with lots of compilation movies).

@Animefreak17 Mine didn't have the film but came with the soundtracks instead.
Is the film a "follow on" then?

as megaman74 said its a rush job its basically the series with a stupid cliff hanger ( thats if you watch the movie first ) and using the same scenes and some new scenes and saying different things.

i think mine has a few music videos but thats it.

i love blue gender its a anime that should be given more credit i love the story i love the plot, the characters, the music, the drama, the adventurer, all of it the nudity and the 5 second lesbian scene was a bonus its just awesome.

iv watched disc 1 of ghost hound and its spooky and i like it.

Spice and Wolf 1 - I'll have more thoughts on this later but I have to say, that upscale...

Mobile Fighter G Gundam ep10-13

A marked improvement on the earlier episodes, especially with the introduction of the barking mad Master Asia. I still find Domon rather two-dimensional as a protagonist, but at least he and Rain have been fleshed out a bit now.

Well, we're up to episode 9 now and they haven't even gotten into Rise's TV section yet, so if it is 13 episodes it'll either be incredibly rushed from now on or halve the story like what happend to Star Ocean EX.

Or... wait for a second season.

Hmm. At least it sounds like they've slowed the pace down a little bit. Although dungeon grinding obviously wouldn't translate well...I just wonder what they have to put into the rest of the episodes when they finish up with the main characters...

Chihayafuru Ep 2

Another good episode, although this one showed off more of the nasty side of children being petty. Tachi does seem to have his reasons though with the seemingly immense pressure that his Mother is putting him under...It was really nice to see Chihaya step up and take over the Karuta game for Wataya though, even if her methods were somewhat unorthodox. We're getting a good glimpse at her character and how strong she is.

Shakugan no Shana III -FINAL- 10

lol, a bipedal camel in a robe is a Crimson Lord xD. Luckily, it got one-shotted by Shana. Also, I love the end of the episode where Wilhelmina and Khamsin look untouched, but Rebecca Reed is a wreck xD.

THE IDOLM@STER e.20-22 - Chihaya! Haruka! Touma!

There is no better series to energize you through a 10k run than iM@S (save for the extra effort of having to hold back the tears during "Promise", especially during Haruka's initial run out onto the stage).

Chihaya's story was a great change of pace for the show, and you really feel sorry for all the girls as it starts to hit home just how rarely they get to spend time with each other now. Things are still moving in the background towards a spectacular finale, tempted to save up the last four episodes to watch them when it's done.

I feel p.good about sticking with my JP DVDs now. :s

Fairy Tail 109.

Considering the way the manga is going too, I'm really considering dropping this series. This week's episode was so boring.

I wanted S&W anyway, and this is still the cheapest (and shockingly, best) official English language release available. I'm glad I didn't pay any more than £17 for it though.

The fact that the Japanese BDs are nowhere near as bad, coupled with the fact that fansubbers can happily rip those and offer people better quality than those who paid for the official US BD release is alarming, depressing and almost beyond belief.

Soul Eater - CD 5-6
Hunter x Hunter - Episodes 9-10
One Piece - Episodes 522-524

Non-Anime
Finally got around to watching X-Men Origins: Wolverine and it left me with a major question How was professor X walking at the end? I am sure he lost the ability to walk early on...
