A sudden Yuasa double bill

Mind Game
Nah this one's far too abstract for me. I do appreciate the experimental art direction and animation but the story is where it lost me. The escape sequence towards the end of the film was great fun but overall this was quite the disappointment.

Inu-Oh
Meanwhile his lastest movie is right up my alley. Love the art direction, animation and how they portrayed 14th century Japan as well as Inu-Oh and Tomona's performances. The rock and roll soundtrack may be anachronistic but it fits perfectly with the anarchic themes of the film. Absolute crime that AL didn't include a soundtrack with the CE.

Maybe weird to say but Tomori (Bang Dream) is one of the most human characters I've seen in Anime for a very long time

Writers for this season should be proud of the work they've put into this character. 100%

This was an enjoyable watch, and I can see why the series has endured for so long, though there was quite a lot of filler to skip, and the Kaitou Kid episodes/movies didn’t do much for me. Overall though, it was worth the endeavour to get caught up.
