Princess Principal Eps 7-12 (End) (sub) This was an exceptional show - I can't believe I waited so long to see it. Really glad I just ordered the Collector's Edition boxset when it was the MVM DOTW; I only had the Sentai standard Blu-ray in my collection until now, and this series is definitely worth having the CE for.

Lycoris Recoil Ep 3 - Oh yeah, this series is going to be really good, I can tell. Thoroughly enjoying this one so far.

Spy x Family eps 6-9 (sub) I'm showing this one to my mother, we may even finish this one up later this evening.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 258 Ping pong pummelling.

League of Nations Air Force Aviation Magic Band Luminous Witches episode 3 A new opportunity.

Parallel World Pharmacy episode 2 Exercising caution.

Yurui Deco episode 3 Glitching out.

Hanasakeru Seishounen episodes 37-39 (Complete. A story which evolved from a middling shoujo premise into one of political intrigue and a battle for inheritances and power. It made for a solid watch despite the early episodes waning my interest.) 3.5/5

Hanasaku Iroha
episodes 1-15

I'm currently looking at my shiny (and very heavy) collectors box and wondering when I will have the time to watch it. Maybe I'll move it up the pile on your recommendation. :)

VS Knight Lamune & 40 Fire - Episoes 2 - 11

I am having a lot of fun with VS Knight so far. There's lots of little things that please me about it that make the show really likeable as a whole.

I like the more mature tone that the show has, seemingly maturing as the audience of the original TV series has matured (as has the mecha designs which are more 'real robot' now rather than the previous SD style designs). VS Knight has a simple but enteratning story, it's still very funny, it looks great, the 'Next Character' sections at the end of some of the episodes happily remind me of L-Gaim and it has cool looking mecha (Kaiser Fire has definite influences from Escaflowne and Eva Unit 1)!

Dropkick On My Devil!! X episode 3 Jizo attack.

Love Live! Superstar!! 2nd Season episode 1 Newcomer.

Overlord IV episode 42 Conspiring.

Tokyo Mew Mew New~♡ episode 3 A troublesome arrival.

Vermeil in Gold ~A Magician Pushes Through the Magical World With the Strongest Disaster~ episode 3 Dragon duel.

Haruka Nozigaka's Secret: Purezza episodes 1-12 & Haruka Nozigaka’s Secret: Finale (Complete. Whilst the second season was slightly better than the first, the finale OVAs were on the tedious side and the series overall is passable but unremarkable upon giving a second chance.) 3/5, 2.5/5

Back with more stuff I watched, with a score attached somewhat broadly

The 1 "new" film I watched:

Fruits Basket -Prelude- [EN Audio] - Before this was released, I did catch up and finish all 3 seasons of the show, having put it off for a while, I ended up really liking the show, the characters and many of the English cast (most notably the returning Laura Bailey, to whom this show clearly means a lot), so it was certainly worthwhile.
As for the movie... It's a weird product. Once you get past the 30 minute sorta recap (that makes sure to get across that is for returning viewers, not newcomers), whats left is a story that fans of the show will know the end points and outside of some nice character beats (and a fair amount of baggage), this feels mostly like filling out the stuff not told in the anime but isn't that important. It's fine for what it is, for all 50ish minutes of it (hence the long recap to pad out the runtime). Still, happy to have seen it all - 6/10

The previous seasonal anime that I finished relatively recently

Heroines Run the Show [EN Audio] - A lowkey show with a protagonist I found to be fun and also endearing. Besides the initial setup though, doesn't have much going on and the conflict introduced towards the end feels really... eh, but I get it. Oh well, decent enough - 6/10

Love after World Domination [EN Audio] - A decent romantic comedy with a good upfront premise that, while it has its moments in the first half of the show, runs out of new things to do, and what scenarios it does include are increasingly not interesting (by episode 11, the barely concealed fetish stuff just made me think this should be over now) - 6/10

Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie [JP Audio] - Another rom com, also with a good central premise. Despite my misgivings with some of the comedy not really landing early on, the show improves noticeably after episode 6, and has plenty of good character back and forth - 7/10

Spy x Family Part 1 [EN Audio] - This show is great, really like these characters and the scenarios involved, what else is there to say, it's excellent so far! - 9/10

Spriggan ep3-5

Generally, I think Spriggan works best when it does its more fantastical, Indiana Jones-esque storylines - when it’s doing the tacticool military sci-fi parts, the CG work tends to be less effective and episode 4, with its focus on that, was also less engaging than the sillier episodes at either side of it. While Spriggan was likely an influence on it, I feel Full Metal Panic handled that sort of material more successfully.

3 and 5 are good fun, but I would recommend anyone thinking of watching the series to avoid the opening - it spoils a couple of important reveals.

Seems like it'll be quite amusing. The art is fairly unique.

Call of the Night episode 3 I second that emotion.

Chimimo episode 3 Culprit.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV episode 1 The bigger picture.

The Devil is a Part Timer! Season 2 episode 2 A day out.

The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting episode 3 Family man.

Hayate the Combat Butler episodes 15-27

Princess Principal episodes 1-12 + extras: Took a while to get into this and then, just when I was enjoying the action, it ended. Still not sure about the British accents or why Chise has a French accent (probably should have watched it dubbed).
