The Misfit of Demon King Academy episodes 8-13 (End)
Really enjoyed this one. Plenty of interesting lore and a fun cast with Anos being one of the better takes on the overpowered MC trope.

Yeah that's right I'm rewatching the comfy show for the nth time. This'll be a weekly watch in preparation for Season 2 next year.

Honestly, quite disappointed with this. I had high hopes given its pedigree, but having expected a lavish production with ‘FROM THE CREATOR OF MEGAHIT BLEACH’ writ extremely large, I was surprised at how modest and uninspiring it actually is. It’s not unwatchable, but it’s just not as much fun or as engaging as it ought to be and, even at its short runtime, I couldn’t be bothered to finish it.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear ep 1
Seems a bit like BOFURI except the MC starts out already OP. In fact she's so OP already I found this episode boring as hell.
Also there's a weird discrepancy between the premise, both MAL and Funimation make it sound like an isekai, and what actually happened in this episode where we see her enter the world via an VRMMO headset, hense the BOFURI reference (unless the isekai-ing happens later).
Noblesse ep 1
So engineered super soldiers vs vampires. Action looked cool. The SOL bit attempted to be amusing, but I'm not sure how much more of it there will be, hopefully a lot less.
AKIRA (at the cinema in 4K and IMAX, sub)
The 4K definitely made most scenes sharper and I spotted a few new details, like you could tell there was a different hand behind different scenes. Although some scenes were a little blurry for some reason. The sound was very load and I heard a few new things as well at different points.
The cinema experience itself was a little weird though, wearing a mask throughout and the complex where the cinema is based was completely empty.

Kimisen, Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World episode 1 This seems like a familiar set up though if executed well could be a good drama.

It was great to watch Akira in the cinema again, I've seen this film so many times and it's not perfect by any means but it's a joy to watch nonetheless.
I had the experience at my screening, there were a couple of new things I noticed plus a couple of scenes that looked just a little blurry as you say.

Higurashi: When They Cry (Japanese audio) - Episodes 22-26 (Finished)
A pretty solid series overall. My only issue is the show hasn't aged well in its animation and the horror tones suffer in numerous parts (so rather than being freaked out, you just can't help be amused by their expressions).

Strike Witches: 501st Joint Fighter Wing Take Off! (Rewatch) Episode 1-12 and short film (Complete. On rewatch this is still a fun show and getting to see the comical hijinks made it worth it, just a shame that the eps are so short. As for the short film that was also another fun revisit.) 3/5
Strike Witches Episode 6-12 (Complete. A decent series that made good use of its aerial combat sequences for some up close fanservice. Overall a rather fun show.) 3/5

The first season of IBO was good fun and felt like a refreshing take for the Gundam series whilst the second continued the story and concluded in a bittersweet fashion. This was a solid entry for the Gundam franchise that wasn’t afraid to amass a body count.) 4/5
