Cannon Busters ep1

It was alright, I guess? Given some of the mixed opinions I've seen on it, I liked it a little more than I expected to. Seems kind of like the circumstances of its production are more interesting than the end result at the moment, but shall reserve judgement until I've seen a bit more.

BEM ep4

After improving considerably in the past couple of episodes, this has kind of dipped back down again. It's the writing that's doing it. I can understand luring the electrical monster into the field of lightning conductor rods, but for the life of me I can't fathom why they were there in the first place.

Cop Craft ep7

Me: The Jean Seberg-looking photographer in the OP is cute, I wonder if she's going to be a love-interest for Kei or something.

Well... that ending wasn't surprising even in the least, and tbh I don't blame Medhi for wanting to lash out after learning of her mothers selfish reason. Speaking of Medhi's mother, I've said it before and I'll say it again, she really is annoying as hell.

This was a really fun episode. Glad to see wave girl getting her own episode. And yet again it's still pretty hilarious how she's able to mess with those girls without much effort.

Hugtto! Precure episodes 43-49 [End] - Honestly a fantastic series for my first venture into the Precure franchise. The story and characters were really well developed for what is a kids show with some moments seeming a bit darker than I'd expect. The positive nature of the series and the friendship of the main five is so satisfying to watch. The animation is also pretty good with another great soundtrack by Yuki Hayashi (known for My Hero Academia). My only issue is that the series being monster-of-the-week means they'll sometimes throw a monster fight into an episode where it just doesn't need one. Aside from that, this was a great surprise and I'll be sure to check out other parts of the franchise starting with the current series Star Twinkle Precure. 9/10
