My Sweet Tyrant eps 3-12 (back on hold)
Thought I'd watch the first cour of this series so I can get a better impression of it for the seasonal post. Although I still think the way Akkun talks to Nontan is weird, it is sort of explained why she puts up with it with the parents episode, I am liking a few of the characters and it can be quite funny. But like the other shorts this season, probably 3 minutes is too short.

I'm not quite sure what I watched, but it definitely has intrigue to it, I wish I had made sure I had time to watch it through in one sitting.
Seems to have a few similarities with Dead Leaves and Gurren Lagann although the man behind both didn't actually work on it according to MAL.

Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues ep1

There seemed to be a lot of Kaiji recapping going on for the first while, but I thought this was pretty funny, once it got going. The staff meeting reminded me a lot of the boardroom business card scene from American Psycho.

FLCL: Progressive ep1

It was an okay first episode, I suppose, but I'm not immediately bowled over or indeed convinced this was in any way necessary. Willing to give it some time, at least.
 
Back Street Girls episode 1 Technically this isn't available for simulcast so I'm just watching a fansub. It's very funny so far.

I'm skipping season 6 since I have a clear memory of what events transpired and it was the season I watched most recently.

Steins;Gate 0 episode 13

High School DxD Hero episode 12 - Only took four seasons but you did it Issei. Same ridiculous nonsense as usual with DxD and this may be a hot take but I like the change in studios. The new art style took some getting used to but it was a good change in the end. Tournament arc felt a little rushed in places but overall a good return for this piece of lovable garbage. 7/10

yeah, no, that's definitely not gonna be anything they'll want to see. Like myself they basically want to see anime that looks and plays out like a live action movie only animated, and the characters actually look like people and not cartoons. I just watched the first two episodes of GLT and all but fell asleep.

Banana Fish - Ep 1 The first ep of the new show I was was most looking forward to didn't disappoint great visuals and good start of world building, already love the two MCs

I'd prefer if the mean streets of New York looked a bit... meaner, and more populated, but that aside, I was very impressed. MAPPA's animation work on the fight scene at the end is particularly good.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 64 The Naruto retrieval arc begins, bringing things full circle to when Sasuke was captured back in the original and caused a slew of awful filler arcs when they tried to recover him. Now he's doing the dirty work, thankfully without giant beetles.

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Episode 1 - Everything I expected plus some nice animation, my enjoyable trash of the season

Seven Senses of the Re'Union Episode 1 - The MC design wise is a carbon copy of Kazuma from Konosuba. Other elements are blatantly ripped off SAO. Very average so far

Space Battleship Yamato 2202 - Episode 9 (dub) Another excellent episode
 
How Not To Summon A Demon Lord episode 1
It feels like it's trying to be a cross between Overlord and Konasuba but it isn't as good as either of them. Time will tell.

Orange (2-5)
I didn't enjoy the first episode that much but it picked up quickly enough.
