11eyes ep 7-12 (complete). I think the main reason why I like this series is the way that the story progresses at a brisk pace, with most episodes having a solid hook at the end which keeps you both interested and off balance. It also helped that this series is a complete story, with no need to read a load of manga to find out what happens next. Another plus is how the characters adapted their approach to their situation based on the new information that would periodically come to light, instead of charging on blindly as most shounen battle characters would do.
There's plenty of things wrong with this series of course, such as the random fanservice, the yandere, and the confusing and contrived ending.
Overall, however, I enjoyed the ride and this series will take a place alongside the likes of Aldnoah Zero and Coppelion as one of my guilty pleasures.

11eyes OVA. I loved how the start and ending of this was a message from the production team basically saying 'please don't hate us for this, it's just a bit of fun'. There was a feeling throughout the episode that the viewer was being trolled by the creators, with everything we knew about the characters being thrown out the window and replaced with randomness and fanservice (with the biggest trolling being that the only actual nudity came from the one girl most fans hate, no doubt 'frustrating' many, heh).
I guess I liked this episode, if only because of how different it is from the typical fanservice OVA that we are all so familiar with.

Seiyu's Life (complete)
While the closing of each episode was my favourite bit it was actually a nice series. During the ending the characters sing a song about the episode you've just watched and do a little section singing a different anime opening theme every week (like Nadesico, Eva or Slayers for example).
Was quite informative and I suppose educational as much as I'll take most of it with a pinch of salt, but it was a nice slice-of-life thing which made me smile so...yeah.

I'm behind on everything again, but I have managed to finish Frame Arms Girl

Off to go watch Kings Game as I need something to make me laugh after todays time at work

New Game! eps 1-3
Very like Shirobako, but with games. One other difference is the lack of male characters which makes it seem less true to life than Shirobako, although the work Aoba is seen doing seems to be realistic stuff.

Black Clover episode 9 So Noelle is basically Farnese from Berserk atm, a noble who feels she's holding back her peers (Asta even has a giant f*cking sword here. Where's mah CLANG sound at?)

Boruto: Naruto next Generations episode 35

Ghost in the Shell Arise: Border 1: Ghost Pain, Border 2: Ghost Whispers, Border 3: Ghost Tears, Border 4: Ghost Stands Alone (Rewatch)
Complete. The Borders series is certainly interesting, and sets up the origins for the Section 9 team. However, it doesn't live up to SAC or the other films, though that would be very hard to do. The dub cast also takes some getting used to, and the OP would suit a softcore porno as opposed to a sci-fi series (ED 3 "Heart Grenade" by Sean Lennon was great however). That being said, there's some solid action here, and some fun character interactions. Overall this is quite good, but lacks when compared to other GITS entries) 3.5/5, 3.5/5, 4/5, 4/5

Love Live! School Idol Project [Season 2] (Japanese audio) - Episodes 11-13 (Complete)

Way better than the first season and a great conclusion to the TV series. I don't have the School Idol Movie and probably won't for a while (unless someone finds me the Japanese LE Blu-ray).

Blood Lad will be completed tomorrow and thus that would complete the November on-disc backlog.

November on-disc backlog progress:
Completed:
#01 | The Tatami Galaxy
#02 | Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid
#03 | Space Dandy Season 2
#04 | Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine
#05 | Serial Experiments Lain
#06 | Gonna Be the Twin-Tail!!
#07 | The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan
#08 | Tokyo ESP
#09 | Love Live! School Idol Project Season 2

Remaining:
Blood Lad

Ghost in the Shell Arise: Border 1: Ghost Pain, Border 2: Ghost Whispers, Border 3: Ghost Tears, Border 4: Ghost Stands Alone (Rewatch) . . . The dub cast also takes some getting used to
This is unheard of for me, but I actually prefer Arise dubbed. I just find the script more interesting, and I think John Swasey's great as Aramaki. Also, any dub that can make the Logicomas just as cute as in the original Japanese is a winner in my book! ;)

A Silent Voice (rewatch) (yes, again. :p)
Tried this with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing subs. They actually differ from the other subtitle track: they're an odd mix of the regular subs and a less polished, more literal translation — one which was obviously done without access to the visuals. Late in the film, the HoH subs have Shoya refer to Nagatsuka's "beard". It's in fact a moustache. (They're the same word in Japanese, you see.)

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia episodes 4–7 with Japanese commentary
I learnt that the kanji for 'broom' (houki, ほうき) is surprisingly complicated: 箒
Educational.

Agreed I've always watched the GITS franchise dubbed. The change in VAs here from SAC to this was a bit meh for some characters, and I definitely prefer the OG cast, though Funi did do the Younger Aramaki and Major decently enough.
