Mikagura School Suite (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 01 (Re-watch), 02-04

I like this show, but I do have two problems with it so far - the main character (while very amusing) does annoy me on certain parts of her 'goal' (what I'm trying to say is that she basically wants to be a hero, do this and do that but in reality she can't, it's generic) but she does improve as it gets along [this only applies to the main few episodes]. The other criticism I have with the show is the animation during the battle scenes, they look really sloppy in my eyes and I hope they at least improve it on the Blu-ray version.

Zegapain - Episode 25 (Blu-ray)

One more episode to go and Zegapain has been developing and wrapping up the story pretty well and I'm really interested to see how it ends.

fwiw To Aru Kagaku no Railgun is essentially a "moe show" (a term that I hate, but I understand the context in which you are discussing it).

I guess the definition of "moe" is it's own discussion but most shows want you to care about their characters and in a loose sense that's basically what moe seems to be (although maybe it's technically a more specific kind of caring). As I understand it, "moe" is supposed to be caring along the lines of what a parent/guardian should feel so I suppose anything that works on a "self-insert" basis wouldn't count but many other things would (and even then, that might depend on the viewer). I guess less character driven shows are also less likely to be called "moe" (though there may still manage to be "moe" characters).

I wouldn't say the term is too useful really, setting aside the constant misuse and re-interpretation it really just describes a particular reaction to a type of character and it could apply in just about any genre (that's assuming that there was ever a decent definition in the first place).

On the other hand, it's kind of fun finding reasons to describe unexpected characters and shows as "moe".

Is The Order a Rabbit?-Episode 8

I need to see more Rosé.

Gate-Episode 2

Damn, the armies beyond the gate got absolutely decimated. Makes me wonder how they're going to pose any kind of threat in the series. The show seems to be going at kind of a slow pace but after learning it's a 2 cour show, I'm okay with having a bit of a slow start.

Question: Is the title meant to be stylised as "insight" or "in sight"? Because everywhere I've seen uses the former, but the arrangement of the letters in the opening theme makes me think it might be the latter? Because:

My Wife Is The Student Council President 1+2 (Uncensored).
I actually wish that these episodes were longer because by the time a scene builds up and gains my interest...episode's over..

Maybe it's both with some kind of elaborate meaning.

I agree they're likely going for some double meaning, but the way the n *isn't* "connected" the the s in the logo definitely suggests something.

Prison School ep1

Hmm. As the PVs suggested, they seem to have gone the 'manga in motion' route and channelled all the money into preserving the art over the animation, but that was probably the best choice in the circumstances. Not keen on choice of VA for Andre though -I always imagined him having a much deeper voice somehow.

Kill la Kill - Episodes 19 & 20

Everybody's gettin' naked, and I'm just sat here waiting for it all to end.
