Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon 11...

Is it wrong that I really really like this series? There's just some epic charm about it that makes it transcend it's very generic parts.
 
Yesterday watched Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, Ep. 10.
Today watched Food Wars! Ep. 10, World Trigger Ep. 32-33, and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches Ep. 8-9.

Great episode. I lost my **** at the opening.

Paranoia Agent (Dub)-Episodes 3 and 4

Episode 3: Okay, I see what this show is going for now. Not entirely convinced I really like the structure. If it moves from person to person each episode, we don't really get to know much about the characters before moving on to the next one. It's still early yet, so I'll see how it goes. I will say the decent into madness is perfectly executed. Much like Perfect Blue, the line between what's real and what's in the character's head is very faint and it gives the show a surreal and dream like quality that I really love. The only work of Kon's I've seen before this show is Perfect Blue, which I liked quite a lot, so I may look into what other things he's done.

Episode 4: Kind of a Meh episode. Watching a corrupt cop be an irredeemable ******** for 20 minutes isn't much fun. Interesting that Lil Slugger appears to have been caught so early.

Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine - Episode 8

Nice to see a purely character focussed episode.

Ghost in the Shell Arise: Alternative Architecture - Episode 9

I enjoyed this new episode but it kinda feels like they're running out of ideas with GitS.

Gurren Lagann - Episodes 20 & 21 (Blu-ray)
 
DanMachi e.11 - a bit of a slow episode, but enough cute touches to make up for that.

DanMachi 11 - Like others, I'm super loving this show! The characters are just loveable, it's not breaking any barriers and feeds off the generic but it does it well (if that makes sense) IMO.

I was creasing, that was so good. I never expected to enjoy the show as much as I do. Hoping we get a second season announcement :3
 
Paranoia Agent (Dub)-Episodes 5-7

Episode 5: Well that was an interesting episode. I didn't think they would do the whole high fantasy thing for the whole episode but it was enjoyable. I just hope there is more to it than that. Considering that I'm not even half way yet, I imagine there will be.

Episode 6: Wow. I didn't think it was possible to make the corrupt cop more of an irredeemable character then he hides a camera in his daughter's room to spy on her undressing. Jesus.

Episode 7: Well that was a weird one. I have a feeling from this point one the show is going to get even more surreal.

Anywho I do plan on picking up the Studio Deen versions of Fate/stay night (TV series and UBW movie) despite the extreme hate for it. Judging by the comments across the internet it sounds like Ufotable have screwed up on this adaptation (I honestly was hoping for this to happen in Episode 22 but instead we got the Realta Nua version (NSFW, VN spoilers)).

Unless you mean on the forums, the score still stands at an 8.6, which is quite high.

Also, maybe I should get around to the VN...
 
I'm not getting the hate for UBW on other forums - the only mis-step it played was going for the all ages take on the sex scene, and that was always a given anyway.

Nope. You could import the Japanese version and add the English translation patch (unfortunately the Japanese set is OOP as far as I'm aware, with the exception of the Realta Nua version).
 
No there isn't. The most legit way is to buy the VN as a physical copy then download the English patch. If you want the new realta nua version, I am pretty sure you will have to pirate because realta nua is no longer available (it was never on PC in physical form, only the original verison which is OOP but still available from collectors). Ah, that's a shame. I'll have to look into translation patches then. It's a long shot, but I hope the success of Steins;Gate over here prompts more big VNs to get an official release. Although chances of getting a version with the sex scenes in tact is slim to none...
