Watched the entirety of Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid today and I was throughly impressed by everything to do with the series' Its definitely one of my firm favourites now. I liked the first one and Fumoffu was just.. well Fumoffu, But this seriously owned in every single way. I couldn't stop watching it. Sousuke and Kaname are very awesome characters, I feel Kaname was somewhat over shadowed by the other events in it though. The animation was top notch from beginning to end. Another great job by Kyoto Animation. Everything has that really great looking "bloom" that they put on everything and its something I feel you can either love it or hate it. Not to be surprised, But I love it.

I'm going to have to get some things to do with the franchise now. A Tessa figure might be in order along with the three series', the novels and the manga.

Just make sure you watch the 'Day in the life of Tessa' bonus feature episode. If you liked her before, you'll love her afterwards. :D

Samurai 7 5-12

Not too much happening here, moving at a steady pace, still enjoyable though.
 
Tales from Earthsea: I liked the animation and the story was quite, but at the start it seemed to jump forward very quickly. I would say it was a good watch, but not as good as previous Ghibli stuff I've seen.

If I were you I'd leave the second season alone. It just... doesn't live up to it's expectations in so many areas. The fact that Yu Aida is involved doesn't make it good.
 
Currently planning to watch Clannad 15 as well as work my way through Berserk 10-13 tonight. May also watch Kanon(2006) 1-4 in dub to see how it compares to its brilliant sub.

Yeah, quite a few people have said the same thing, so I'm on a fence with it for now.

Samurai 7 13-16

I'm pretty sure I've lost all enthusiasm and hype for this series, dissapointing... though it is Gonzo's work, Samurai's wtfpwning robots? ;_;

Afro Samurai 2-5

I said I'd watch it for the lulz and I did, not as bad as I first thought, still bad though, Ninja Ninja is hilarious, probably one of the series few redeeming qualities. [That and the fact it takes itself too seriously which is all worth a laugh]
 
Black Lagoon 1-7

I've only heard good things about this series. Also been told on several occasions that it's seperior to Bebop. Well if that wasn't enough insentive, I dunno what is. Loving the series so far. Good music, characters and the animation has been great from start and never once dropped in quality. This series won't take long for me to watch. ^__^

And it only gets better as it goes into series 2.
