Yeah, seems they have broken the expected order as they have gone to Kaoru instead of Sae. I would expect them to do Sae next, though, it's just... every week is one week closer to Morishima-sempai, haha.

Black Rock Shooter episode 3
I hope it will become better (I wonder why I'm even trying to watch this)... >__<

^ I gave up after episode 1. Only show in AGES where I've done that.

Anyways, Shakugan no Shana III -FINAL- 20.
To be honest, Shana vs Yuji is going so damn slow that I'd prefer if the series focused more on the other battles going on. For example, when SouthValley was shown, Where was Haborym? Wasn't he supposed to be fighting SouthValley?

EDIT:
High School DxD 8
Okay, this is getting reeeeaaalllly good now.

Black Rock Shooter e.3 - This show is so legit, I have to really temper my enthusiasm for it a lot to avoid going OTT. Can't believe some of the negative views on it, which seem to revolve around "waaaaah they don't spell things out for me and are being a bit abstract, want less QQ more pew pew".

edit: heh, not meant as an insult to either of the two above posters, although it does amuse me that Highschool DxD is one of few recent shows that I have dropped after one ep. ^^;

Guilty Crown e.17 - OK, I guess this is where they're going to take the story. ^^; Quite a lot of "stuff" to digest from this episode, if they can bring it all together over the last five weeks then it has the potential to be very strong.

Rinne No Lagrange 1

Decided to dip into this. It doesn't seem to be bringing anything new or special to the genre, but it does what it does very well and I like the characters. Will probably keep watching.

Nisemonogatari 8

Wow, I love the new OP! Aniplex USA might have to start coughing up US release details before the volume with this song comes out in Japan.

The episode itself was hilarious, too. Although nothing actually happened, it was probably the best one yet.

Ah, I need to catch up with Nisemonogatari. Really enjoyed the first two episodes, especially the second one for the Nadeko fanservice ^____^

I want an announcement for a Bakemono release first, though.

House of Five Leaves 1-3

The languid pace, period detail, and general uniqueness of this samurai drama have me hooked, though I'm not feeling too much from the characters as yet. Yaichi's charisma is undeniable, but Masa is far from a compelling lead... so far, at least. In a word: sophisticated.

All I'm left wondering is how a show with such a fantastic OP song could have such a terrible ED song. (Cue Rui telling me how much she loves it :p)

Been watching "Another" recently, up to ep 8. Seems they have a fascination with necks. Also catching up with Mawaru Penguindrum....

SEIZON SENRYAKUUUUU!!!!

Re: Nisemonogatari

I think you'll be pleased at the levels of fanservice in the coming episodes.

Nah, the ED is horrible. Even I can't love that ;_;

Super Heavy God Gravion Zwei - Episodes 3 - 6

After a lot of silliness in the earlier episodes I like the change in tone from episode 5.[/b]

Planetes 18-21

Man... this show is turning into asshole central now... Everyone's acting like a massive prick and while I appreciate the points being made it kind of feels artificial to the central story and characterisation of some of the people saying them.

Yeah, much as I can understand their trying to give the story more focus as it nears the end, that last arc of Planetes had a bitterness about it that did the series no favours.
What, by depicting unfairness, disappointment and betrayal? It's been a long time since I watched Planetes so I can't recall the specific episodes, but I don't remember feeling any of it was overly melodramatic (I don't think I've ever found any story too bitter).
