Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - Episode 18

I have to ask, since i watched that last night myself. But did you find the end of the episode to be..well, Gundam Seed-like?

Hunter x Hunter: Episodes 18 - 19
Final Hunter exam stage now, I'm really now starting to get excited for Heaven's Arena/Celestial Tower sometime soon!

I'm with you there.

Nodame Cantabile 1-2
I've been watchin the show with a female friend and while its cool and all the dub actor for the main character sounds like such an a**hole. serioulsy. i'm gonna keep watching but i cant stand that character. also why does nodame fall in love with him after being repeatedly beaten up by him. Is that how love works now?

The World God Only Knows 1-2 (Rewatch)
This time I watched the sub. I prefer Elsie's JP voice, but Keima's English really isn't that bad. Also, this show is fecking gorgeous in HD.

Also, I loaded up disc 2 to watch the extras. I know ANN recently criticised the "Music Video" extras as being just clips from the show, but I really like it. Also, my 7 year old brother is completely fixated on Kanon Nakagawa performing as I type this xD

I so want to buy her album and singles...if only I had the money.

EDIT:
High School DxD 7
Well, seems like this show is now turning into 100% harem. One line from the episode preview also caught my attention: "Male heir of the Gremory clan, please accept my virginity. The sooner the better"...err...Rias, if you're saying that to the heir of your clan...er...

Also, this image:

EDIT:
Shakugan no Shana III -FINAL- 19
Okay, as much as I am liking this series, this episode felt like an absolute trainwreck. I haven't read the light novels beyond volume 2 (thanks Viz Media >>), but even I could tell that so much was cut out of the anime adaptation. Unfortunately, this episode featured a lot of those - characters randomly appearing where their appearance might have meant something if earlier arcs weren't cut out and characters referencing backstories that the anime simply didn't explore. Also, I felt the whole thing with Kazumi and Pheles was hyped for no reason at all - it just fell flat when it came to fruition, despite being something hinted at since season 2! I also felt a complete lack of drama when Johann was confronting Yuji/Snake of the Festival.

Also, camper van out of f---ing nowhere?!

Guilty Crown e.16 - I'm still not 100% sure where the story is going to end up, but they have done a decent job of sustaining momentum through the second half of the series.

Black Rock Shooter e.2 - Watching this and Guilty Crown back to back is almost too much! I like that they have used the song as the OP rather than the ED as they have put together some really nice animation to go with it. Pretty good example of how to tell a superhero origin story in the space of 40 minutes, compared to the 140 is usually takes Hollywood to not quite get it right.

Bakuman. e.19 - Somehow never disappoints. Even starting to like Kaya a bit more, now.

Brave 10 e.6 - Well, if this wasn't the fanservice ep, then I'd like to know what is. Amusing, but only in a fairly generic way, which is a shame.

Nisemonogatari 7

What was with the delay this week on CR? I didn't see it reported anywhere. Anyway, the actual show is still great, and I felt it tied up the arc very neatly. Since everything's all set up now, I look forward to diving into Tsukihi's story next. Hitagi is cool, though Shinobu continued with her very welcome recent trend of stealing the show despite barely being in it ^^;

Brave10 5-6

Still loving Sasuke, and Yukimura's relationship with everyone. I hope the full group is assembled soon. The series continues to appear to fly strangely under the radar and generates very little interest on any of the sites I visit other than occasional fascinated remarks on Rokurou's outfit, but pleasingly the quality of the Pixiv contributions has stepped up recently. I continue to be absolutely mystified by the world wanting to withhold any kind of stream from our country.

Chaos;Head 1-8

Argh, this one's hard work. I am really not enjoying it, but after coming this far I might as well finish. I dislike every single character in it, I dislike the designs, and I dislike the music (the ED especially). I should have done as I originally planned and skipped the show entirely; at least I'd watched an episode of Steins;Gate already so I know that's more to my taste, otherwise this might have made me shy away.

Clannad 1

It begins. Not sure why I'm punishing myself by embarking on this at the same time as a vaguely similar series (in terms of character setup and potential for irritation) which I don't like, but nevermind. So far, Nagisa's dad has completely stolen the show and it will be hard work for anyone else to seem anywhere near as cool as him.

Chaos;Head. They're nothing alike, but when you're not really into either the beige uniforms and derpy characters sort of blur together ;_;

Though (having progressed a few episodes since earlier) I'm enjoying Clannad a lot more than I had dared hope.

Ah, lol, OK. I agree with the bit that I've quoted, which is what was throwing me, as I did think that was maybe what you meant.

(Also please fill in the "R" in the hangman so I can swoop in and steal the answer)

Teehee.

I was going to express my surprise but then I remembered that I actually liked the first two or three episodes. If you still feel the same way after the abominable Fuko arc, then you're a lost cause :p

--------

Nisemonogatari 1

I don't want to think about how much money I've given to Crunchyroll per episode watched. We're talking JP BD prices here. So it's time to make use of my hitherto wasted subscription fee.

And this seemed like a good place to start. Hachikuji so funneh.

Dvd's 1-4 of Witchblade, really got into it and then realise that i have to buy the singles of vols 5 + 6 and can't see them for cheap anywhere!

Not to worry.

Still watching dragonball z but il be watching graven disc 3 tonight.

I'm so looking forward to getting my new tv and ps3, the pics are going to better awesome when I watch one piece for the first time

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom Episodes 5 - 7

Saber Marionette J to X Episodes 1 & 2 *

* This will be a rewatch up until episode 11 (volume 3) as I got the 1st 2 volumes several years ago but only got volumes 3 - 6 this year.

Yesterday I got through Lagrange Episodes 5-6 and Mirai Nikki Episode 17.

Today I hope to get through Lagrange Episode 7, Mirai Nikki Episode 18, and SHE: The Ulitimate Weapon Episodes 9-13.

Hmm, six episodes in now and I'm still managing to continue. It's so much better than Chaos;Head that it's probably getting an unfairly positive showing. Fuuko (and her storyline in general) sucks, but they pepper the episodes with enough raw awesomeness from Nagisa's dad to tide me over. My expectations for Clannad were at rock bottom, so being even tolerably watchable is an achievement indeed.

I have to say that I quite like the job Fuuko's seiyuu is doing, even if the actual character is anathema to me.

Going to finish off Queen's Blade s2 next, so poor Clannad will have to compete with something I actually like next time it comes into the rotation.
