Gundam Age 19 - So yeah, After a pretty good previous episode, this one was...ok i guess. The main components of it where great, but my issue was the pacing. It felt like they wanted to rush certain bits and i don't get why. Gundam has always been a 50+ episode series(or almost always), so they still have plenty of time to expand on things, yet Instead, they decide that skipping the entirety of the military academy section would be best. A whole year and a half we get no real insight into. Unless they decide to come back to it later as a flashback, i see us being left in the dark with that for the rest of the series

Plans for tonight. A few episodes of Persona 4 to catch up and finally starting Nisemonogatari. Maybe some Hanasaku Iroha as well, with Gintama'

Yeah I agree, all of a sudden all the of the original characters are re-introduced and a whole junk of story seems to be missing and it felt a little cheesy at times too, but I quite liked the AGE-2.

Hunter x Hunter 2011 Episode 20

Another half good half bad episode. the second half with killua's bro fuckin wit him was quite intriguing but the first half was a bit wierd and made the whole episode feel like a recap episode. cant wait to see what Gon's gonna do now since i completely forgot how this arc ended since its been about 5 years since i saw the original anime.

FLCL Eps 2+3

Errrrrm. Ermmmm. Ermmm. I think that's all I can say about this. It's as though Gainax got together, went out for a MAJOR drinking binge...and then decided to brainstorm a TV series for the sheer kicks.

And then decided to make said series...

It's like... I put it on while I'm exercising, or browsing the internet for nothing, and I enjoy the fact that it's there. I couldn't quite get enough out of it to say "right, for the next 20 minutes this show is getting my full concentration", but Sonya is cool enough to keep it going.

Sword of the Stranger (Blu-ray)

Last saw this at the Barbican cinema a few years ago and the blu-ray was a welcome birthday present from one of my sons. It isn't a masterpiece but it is a good enjoyable romp through feudal Japan and blu-ray really does the animation justice.

Amagami e.7 - Consistently comes up with great situations for the leads (the seat sharing was OK, but the bus ride was great), not exactly without its share of cliches, but always entertaining. One week closer to Morishima-sempai!

Chihiyafuru eps 4-5

Wonderful way to relax, even with an interesting change of tone.

Wait, what? I know that the second series is split into only two episodes for the girls, and that they're going in reverse order, but...shouldn't it be Sae's arc now? Or have they jumped to Kaoru? I...Would have to steel myself not to jump ahead and watch Kaoru's arc if this were true...
