Super Heavy God Gravion Zwei - Episode 7

Another good, dramatic episode and I was wondering when we were finally going to see the villan with the single glowing red eye!!

Fairy Tail OVA 3

Steins;Gate turned me away from the idea of time travel. But now I'm not sure...

Lucy grows on me every time I see a picture of her, definitely glad I pre-ordered FT part 1 DVD now!

Watch Papa no Iukoto episode 8 earlier. It would see that if you have a spare 3 year old girl, then no matter what threats you're facing, everything will end up perfectly fine.

Papa no Iukoto ep 8

as stated, Hina is a weapon of mass destruction and the landland is a reincarnation of Sawa-chan from k-on :D

Fairy Tail oav3

not bad, but needed more young mira, lisanna LOLI LEVI!!!!! and Wendy

Gundam age 19-20

It really does have a gundam seed feeling, i even like age-2 almost as much as i like 00 raiser/freedom

Chaos;Head 9-12

Never did get into this and every episode was a chore to watch with unlikeable characters who blathered on about things which made no sense and didn't really matter. There were some interesting ideas (which were probably used better in the source material) but for some reason it always focused on being lame instead. I will not be bothering to pursue the series further. Roll on Steins;Gate.

Clannad (wherever I left off, to episode 8 )

Even the hammier parts are quite well done, I am impressed, especially since I hated the original game. This was definitely worth the $5.99 per cour. It's strange how the characters I would usually dislike (e.g. Tomoya) are presented quite well in this adaptation, and I'm looking forward to the later arcs. Time to pick up the pace now the slog of Chaos;Head is over. Need more of Nagisa's amazing dad...

Highschool of the Dead 1

I have never seen a zombie movie before so a lot of the references in this are going to sail over my head. Fortunately, the loving attention to fanservice is universal and it's doing a good job of being exactly what I expected. Why isn't this on TV, more than any other recent show that made it to the UK? It would be perfect for the late night demographic Manga loves so much.

Hakuouki TV 1-2

Awesome. I don't think it's possible to retell the Shinsengumi story too many times. Buying the OP single shortly.

At the end of episode 7 and the majority of this one, I thought she was........Yui's evil older sister.

I'm joking

Daily Lives Of High School Boys (aka Nichibros) episodes 1-8 -

This has almost pulled away from Nisemono to be my favourite anime of the season, it's been consistently funny in every episode and I love it's sketches and parodies. I think of it as a more accessible Cromartie High School.

I'm surprised on how the series portrays girls, we recently have been popularised with all girl Slice Of Life shows, with girls being pretty much perfect and adorable, for the most part it's totally opposite here, there crude, mean and violent. Thankfully this only adds to the comedy and i'm glad when characters like Ringo and Literature Girl are on-screen. The High School Girls Are Funky sections are great as well.

With a strong cast of awesome gentlemen and it's solid comedy, Nichibros is certainly worth watching and with four episodes left, i'm going to miss it when it finally ends. (Will be putting a pre-order for this as well)

This upsets me as I just received the limited ed Chaos;Head this morning. I'd previously watched the first 2 episodes online and thought it might be interesting...
Clannad I LOVE. I just bought the DVDs when they were cheap too. Despite having less legit copies.

HOTD I have only watched the first episode and haven't bothered continuing so far. Just seem to be panty then blood then panty then blood then breast then blood... I mean I guess that's what I was expecting but still wasn't for me. Animation looks well done though.

I've just finished Sound of the Sky and The House of Five Leaves and I'm making a start on Spice and Wolf.
Weirdly I thought I would love Sound of the Sky and Spice and Wolf and be bored by Five Leaves, but it's been almost the other way round. House of Five Leaves has been one of my favourite series I've seen in months. Sound of the Sky was good but a little shallow I think. Spice and Wolf I just don't 'get' yet.

If you enjoy it please post your thoughts here, I'd be interested to see a different perspective after finding it such hard going :)

Made a mistake with my Chrono Crusade episodes. Turns out the last disc had three episodes, not four. So tonight I'll be watching episodes 16-18.

Last night I watched the Exaella OVA, and I'm reviewing it for the site.

Super Heavy God Gravion Zwei - Episodes 9 & 10

Episode 9 was rather cheesy after a string of very good episodes and 10 is setting up for a good finale!
