A bit of non-anime watching, including the complete Yokai Monsters collection. The final film, The Great Yokai War, obviously had a much bigger budget, and was directed by Takashi Miike. Not sure I'd recommend it for kids as it was terrifying. The whole set was well presented, has some awesome extras, and was a lot of fun.
I'm Not A Robot episodes 1-8: this is a fun Korean series (I bought the boxset months ago and decided it was time to watch this). It's about a rich young man who has a severe allergic reaction to human contact and a young woman who is forced to play the part of a robot (which conveniently looks exactly like her, as the creator was an ex-boyfriend - not creepy at all!), while they wait for a spare part. Episode 8 was hilarious, with all those tiny crabs. I don't know how the cast kept straight faces.
The Duke of Death and His Maid season 1: This anime is a sort of inverse of I'm Not A Robot, as the main character has been cursed that any living thing he touches will die. Bought this set (season 1-3) from Malaysia ages ago and I see the US recently released season 1. I think I can see where the story is heading, and I'm enjoying the journey.
