So wait - are you eating a Chinese person for dinner, getting Chinese food for dinner, or having a Chinese chef at your house to cook a meal for you tonight? It isn't quite clear with that wording... 😜

My mother and I and my Ex are going out to an upscale Chinese restaurant tonight ourselves, so we don't have to cook tonight either.

Then, the three of us have tickets to see Avatar: Fire and Ash in IMAX 3D on Friday. So two hot dates with my Ex over the holidays, lol.

I had a Chinese takeaway (or take out as I've heard it called across the pond). Here where I live in the UK we just commonly say we're having a Chinese or Indian for that type of food. Or I'm having a chippy if I'm having fish & chips.

Mmm, tea.... after reading this at 9:45 PM I'm going to make myself a big mug of Earl Grey tea before bedtime. I'm watching some Manyu Scroll right now, so if I need any milk for my tea, I know exactly where to get it, lol. 😇

laying on my bed, absent-mindedly reading dazai's schoolgirl, whilst looking at the same ceiling i have looked at over and over for over 20yrs. there is a squiggly crack near the ceiling lampshade (from the one and only time that i very bravely went up the loft and stepped there, clumsily as ever). there is also a tiny piece of cobweb that only became noticeable after starting to have my fan on 24/7 for both the heat and constant background noise; it swaying directly above meee. how many more times will i find myself noting these exact same tedious details before losing the will get up, i know not

on plus side, no teeth need extracting. would take a lotta pain to get me back in that particular chair

schoolgirl: dazai does a reasonable job of capturing the scatterbrained thinking of a teenager, yet the complexity of his inner turmoil somewhat betrays him. that and how he talks of a friend like the womaniser he was; her sending his school girl protag letters every day and him tiring of her when too upbeat. still, his thinking patterns will always be relatable to those at odds with both themselves and the world. maybe
