What you guys doing right now.

Handed in my dissertation, trekked it 4 miles to uni, carried in a bag round my neck, while listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. I'm not even kidding.

It has been an exhausting experience, but it is done now so now I just chill for a week till exam revision begins =3

Waiting for a friend to pick me up. It was his birthday yesterday but we couldn't do anything as he had work. So today, me, him and a couple of other friends are going to go to Frankie & Benny's.

Earlier today, on the mother's insistence I went to Primark with her and bought a couple pairs of jeans.

I'm trying to finish up a financial report for Monday, but I'm finding it rather difficult. I've had 3 pens run out on me so far, despite the fact that this is not a long piece of work.

That and I'm missing half of my notes. So frustraiting!

I'm watching Jurassic Park 2 on Blu Ray, waiting for my friend to come round. I spent the day in town watching the giant puppets so i'm tired now and just want to relax with some beer and movies.

Pens? Are they like some slightly less ancient form of quill or something? >_>

Normally i'd be quite happy to joke around, but don't get me started on writing apparatus. I'm left handed and even ballpoint pens somehow manage to smudge for me. Everything I write turns to crap, which doesn't help when my handwriting is crap to begin with! :p

I'd be sorted if I could use something as rudimentary as a pencil, but alas they aren't professional looking enough!

(Sorry, having a sense of humour failure over here after also finding out I was the only person not to be notified of a deadline that was convieniently today.)

Haha, don't worry, I am backing away slowly hands raised in the air! :D Hope you can get everything sorted - I don't think I've written anything "proper" with a pen in the last six+ years. ^^;

At the beginning of my course last year, I used to hand write every essay and then after about 2 or three drafts, once I had it just the way I wanted it would I type it all up on the computer. Recently I've moved on to typing straight onto the computer as it saves so much time. I still prefer a pen and paper anyday, though.

You know, you can get pens specifically made for left-handed people?

Yep, reasonably sorted and now I'm nice and chilled out. Using an old trusty pen which slighty smudges, but slightly doesn't as the ink is almost out. The result is a horrendous mismatch of bad handwriting, slight smudging and lots of faded words. It almost makes me feel like I'm writing like I was 8 years old again!

Exactly what I do with my notes for important pieces of work. With my pc explosions over the last year I've learnt that a physical copy makes me feel a bit more secure, although I actually prefer to type it up on a computer. I try to store it on some kind of cloud service/memory device as a back up but I'm still skeptical. In fact my old PSP is being used as a storage for my old college work papers and the likes.

I...I did not. I'm actually kind of amazed...Think I need to research this a bit more, to save me years of pain!

I loved how I first found out this was a problem. Someone gifted me this really nice fountain pen and a load of ink cartridges. One assignment later and not a single word was left unsmudged. That pen was never heard from again!

Woo, lefty-five!

Lamenting the fact that it's 2am and yet again I have failed to get to bed. I'm no Illmae, I can't really hack these late nights. If anyone see's me online past 1am, please give a big hard e-slap, it's for my own good!

I've spent so long doing an unnecessary amount of research on Athenian democracy (and pretty much half on Greek history along the way) for an overdue essay, that I think I've nearly been brainwashed by all these scholars into thinking that all things worthwhile and glorious originated from ancient Greece.... I need a break.

Quarter to one, a bit earlier :)
