If knocking on my door wouldn't get my attention, but ringing a doorbell would, it probably means I am in some sort of situation where I don't want to be disturbed.

Hmm. If people could get through the locked front door and up the four flights of stairs which lead to the door of my flat to knock on it I'd be inclined to agree.

I could just put a sign on the door which says "Yell upwards for 2B" I suppose...

Anyway, to answer the original topic question: I've been in work an hour and a half and already organised the workload ahead into manageable timeframes and organised for an early finish for myself today :)

Due to an unexpected appointment that was sprung upon me yesterday morning (which went on longer than expected) this lead to me working through the day without a lunch break (As I was training staff in the afternoon) I also worked a further 15minutes last Thursday taking me to a total of 45minutes owing.

This means that at 3.45 today i'm free to leave and go see my missus who's back in town this afternoon – I can’t go into too much information but with nearly all my new years resolutions completed, a promotion on the horizon, a car I’ve got my eye on I might buy in the next week, working my backside off at work and using as much initiative as possible to improve things, 100% pass rates on my training courses for the staff (believe me there’s little that will make you as happy as seeing people you’ve trained up; pass and are really thankful for your help) Everything is going in the right direction, im no longer complacent with just letting life pass on by and just thinking “what happens happens” I’ve grabbed hold of my own future with both hands and won’t let go until I consider myself truly successful (Aston martin db9 on the drive of a 6 bedroom house with a holiday home and enough £’s to live comfortably behind electronic gates)

Plus, I’ve woken this morning and the first thing I saw was my anime collection, the urge to power marathon through the whole collection has me itching to get back into watching anime again after a long pause, I’m hopefully going to get chance to watch some of the series I’ve bought but just added to the collection without even opening the shrinkwrap.

Turned on the second DS game, decided to have a browse of the music section, clicked on a random option and then suddenly...

I really like the pictures which are with the music in the Higurashi DS games as they fit perfectly ^_^. And that picture of Rena is <3 Also that piece of music is Anki no Kage

I don't actually own Crysis! I was always going to get it and then one steam sale it showed up for like £2. And...I was being a tightarse and didn't buy it. For £2. Sigh.

I believe I have the next best thing....

Skyrim. Goodbye precious studying time. You will be sorely missed!
 
Crysis 2 took a day to complete, its not the longest of games (given the ability to turn invisible made the game too easy IMO.

Anyway, awaiting the verdict on if the trust i work for is willing to finance my BA (Hons) in Social Work with a second course specialising in mental health and third course in psychology.

Had a meeting with HR today and looks like i've got a promotion coming up, an extra few grand in the bank per year isn't the problem, they require me to get a car and insure/tax ect ect it within a few weeks though so i've made my case clear that i want the promotion before i'm buying a car.

Busy few years ahead of me but by 25 i should be a band 6 earning anywhere between 35-45k annual.

The sensible part of me actually won out and i'm sat here doing coursework, despite a great big kerfuffle on our course at the moment over all manner of things minor and major. I'm also installing Sonic Generations after catching wind of the ost and hearing all of the nice remixed songs.

Anyways I'm currently sat here finishing off some coursework whilst watching the highlights from yesterdays NFL games. Pretty upset I missed the Giants and 49ers last night, this is a cracking game yet again!

Edit: So is Ravens against Patriots! Wow! What a set of games. Definitely hyped for the Superbowl now!
 
In office working, but now for the final two hours of my shift I have an empty office, I think I might watch Mouretsu Pirates and Hunter x Hunter now saves me having to watch it later on tonight.

Second week in a row I've had time where my office is empty and I can do what I like :p

Good God! Hurry — use the printer for personal materials! Appropriate sheets of A3 paper for private sessions at home! Scour the office for unclaimed biscuits! You shall regret not doing so.

Yep, rare you get such a good pair of games for the Conference finals. Ravens totally choked though. :s
 
Found a car, local, cheap enough for my pockets right now and nice insurance..... really can't wait to see if i can get it this weekend :)

Wish me luck that its not crap lol.
 
Right now I am watching Supersizers do the 20's whilst waiting for my friend to arrive and am finalizing my cosplay list for Kitacon (since as of this morning I have decided I absolutely have to do a Bakemonogatari cosplay)
