Yeah sorry about that, I didn't know what was happening! Anyway it seems this thing is called 'text enhance' and I apparently was 'subscribed' to it and apparently it "forms a genuine relationship between advertiser and customer". I managed to unsubscribe and now no longer see those links, but it was almost too easy so I'm worried it might have put a virus in my computer.
 
I'm currently contemplating how lonely Christmas eve will feel tomorrow. For me it's pretty much the most special day of the year to spend with your romantic partner, so it's a bit of a shame I don't have one to spend it with this year.

I thought it was a torturous day of the year designed around being paraded in front of as many dozens of distant family members as possible. I dream of having a Christmas in peace one day ;_;

I always ask to work on the day but my boss is too generous (and it's a Sunday anyway). Bleh.

If it's any consolation I feel hideously alone every day, and romantically speaking, have been for almost five years now. I manage to avoid viruses whilst consuming copious amounts of pornography though, so I'm still doing better than you in that sense.

No, that's Christmas day and yeah that is the day for the family and can be bit of a rigmarole at times. But Christmas eve is a magical day and night if spent with the right person. Christmas day is for the family, New years is all a bit of hype really, but Christmas eve has always been an intimate day of the year to spend with the right person, for me. I have no idea why though.

I manage to avoid viruses whilst consuming copious amounts of pornography though, so I'm still doing better than you in that sense.

Killing time while pondering what to do to kill time more effectively. Also trying to decide if I want to try one of the several anime DVDs I have on backlog. Bah.
 
Sat here on a friends laptop as I found my pc frozen and now refuses to boot, even to a windows cd.

This coming two days before I re-start term? What a pain in the backside...!

Edit: I randomly tried removing one of my sticks of ram and it's working. I think I've found the fault...Time to backup whilst I can!

I'm cheering on Ron Paul in the Iowa caucasus. I disagree with him on a couple of issues, but it will be hilarious if come November conservative American voters have to choose between a liberal and a libertarian. Limbaugh and the Fox News pundits will start having heart attacks... Well, one can only hope.

Oh I totally forgot about that with the Christmas and New Years I've had...I've learnt that I'm not good with maths...

So i'm sat there on christmas day at which point I get given an envelope. I know what this is ahead of time of course, it's those tax discs. So there I am, somewhat giddy with excitement, opening them and taking them out expecting to be surprised. I was surprised in a totally different manner however...My mother, dead seriously, said to my face "Those are for when you have a car."

...Come again? "We've been nestling some things away for you like cuttlery and stuff and we thought those would come in handy, when you eventually get a car!"

A week and a half later and I'm still not sure how i'm supposed to respond to that! At least I now know I'm bad at maths! :D

Morning edit: Urk. Nope. It's gotten worse. Now I freeze or bluescreen within minutes of firing up my pc. Oh well, got an ancient laptop here to be able to carry on my work at least. I can also stream stuff, be it somewhat choppily. Going to test it out later today and if it's the RAM or Hard Drive I can easily just swap those for new ones. If it's the motherboard...Well I might as well do a full upgrade at that point!

Currently I am laughing hard at the fact that if you enter 'Loituma Girl' into Scribblenauts on the DS you do indeed conjure up a red-haired girl spinning a leek.
