What manga are you reading now?

Gunsmith Cats Burst volume 5
Read while coming back home from Expo and I must say I'm REALLY disappointed. I'll rate it 4/10.

Seriously, What's the point of making Goldie show up again, Misty run to her arms and not having a final showdown between Rally and Goldie?
I reckon this series was only made as a way to make some quick cash. I know I shouldn't, but I took the ending of this series to a personal level, after all the original series is my favourite manga of all time!

I'm gutted with this silly ending ;_;

Yotsuba 1-4 read this after expo and yotsuba will probably top Azumanga Daioh as a favourite. So far, it's 10/10 entertainment. My friends actually make fun of me when I'm reading it, as I LOL.

I think I'll have to agree with you about both series there, Chaos.

Gunsmith Cats Burst the last volume was the low point in the series - to have no shoot out/bomb action with Rally/May versus Goldie was poor.

As for Yotsuba, I tend to lol reading it as well which is why I read it in my bedroom - avoid getting funny looks.

Agreed on GC:Burst. The original series is where it's at. The shootout in Goldie's mansion was cool, but mostly Burst wasn't nearly as good. If Sonada made another series I'd still be a sucker and buy it anyway, lol. >_<

I just on-holded The Breaker.

Too lazy to type about my thoughts after making a couple of MAL forum posts, as well as a MAL list tag. It's basically Korea's version of GTO to start with... and then, slowly but surely, it switches to being an all-action, over the top shounen-esque type. Amazing at times and disappointing at others. I SO wanted GTO to have a friend on my top manga list, so it's depressing to not be able to keep it as my #2... like it was after 42 chapters.

Unbalance x Unbalance is pretty sweet, also. It sure beats the fake studentxteacher offerings in other titles, such as Please Teacher--UxU's forbidden love actually having an aggressive, direct male lead and a female lead with a mind of her own. It's kind of all over the place, mind you... a lot like The Breaker. One minute it's drama, the next it's intense fighting, then comedy gets a turn. The Koreans sure like to mix it up!

Zashiki Onna Chapters 1 -2.

Major spoiler but one everybody who has read this will cry in unison:

DON’T TELL HER WHERE THE SPARE KEY IS YOU MORON!

The art style reminds me more of Ghostworld than Welcome to the NHK. The backgrounds are very detailed and the character design is quite expressive. The woman of the title itself is VERY creepy.

The story feels unique in the sense that I haven’t read anything that tackles a subject like this with the degree of realism (apart from the main characters stupidity) in some time. I’m hooked and what to see what levels of lunacy this will reach.

Lunar Legend Tsukihime Vols. 4 & 5

I found the manga is somewhat dull and clichéd but I’ve already read the first three volumes.

The only reason I read this is because it was there... A poor excuse.

Not a patch on Zashiki Onna.

Cliched? You've not seen anything yet, this is one of the best manga i've read :p. The anime needs to be redone to follow this one better.

Maria Holic 4, ah black comedy.
Aria 1, could do with a higher budget/assistants: a fair number of frames have no background, and stick out badly from those that do; it's not like they're character shots with higher detail or diffferent styling. It just looks like not enough time/ money to have drawn them all the time.

Tegami Bachi v.1 - I thoroughly enjoyed it. The art work is amazing, and the story, though it may not be the most original, (so far) is still enthralling nonetheless. Can't wait for the second volume to arrive :]

Pray tell, dear sir, which volume does this manga pick up?

For my part, I highly recommend Zashiki Onna.

Volume 4... RUN HIROSHI, RUN!

To be fair i was hooked from the Nero Chaos fight, it was handled far better then the anime version which was a wholly blink and miss it affair. I suppose its better to say if you're not hooked by the end of vol 5, 6 and 7 probably won't do much for you.

Over the past couple of days I've read:
Tegami Bachi v.2 (Still very good, shame I have to wait until Sept/Oct for the next volume)
Kuroshitsuji v.1
Deadman Wonderland v.1 & v.2
Mirai Nikki v.1
Eden: It's an endless world v.1

Just about to start: Maoh - Juvenile Remix.
