What Games Are You Playing?

Fire attacks are not effective against water types, so Wingull will be fine, you just have to watch out for electric attacks as Wingull is 4x weak to them.

Continued my adventures in obtaining the Persona 4 Platinum today. I made good progress towards both Compulsive Reader and Hardcore Risette Fan. I managed to read about two third of the books now and I've heard 100/250 unique Rise lines. Think I might be able to get the Plat in the next couple of days all being well!

I'm also still working on the Persona 4 Golden plat. I have a lot further to go though as I'm using a different PSN account than I was when I first played it so I had barely anything....

Today I also bought Journey for the PS4, I never played it on the PS3 and everyone says it's a great experience, so looking forward to starting that tomorrow night as I've been told it's a short game and I should try doing it in one sitting so giving it a by tonight.

Cheers Incendiary, will try to remember to not get my Wingull out when faced with an Electric.

It's weird, it tried to evolve then didn't, don't know why??? :(

Why did my Poocheyna prove to be my best Pokemon at the Electric gym btw? He has all dark moves and he barely took any hits and my assurance and thief moves were proper boss lol.

Game Of Thrones episode 5 is out. Might try and play it tonight or Saturday night as my Brother's said its amazing. Just hope I don't have to restart again and have my options picked at random for me like I had to do with episode 4...only 1 choice was different with the random so I got lucky.

Finished Journey, done it in one sitting and only took about 2 and a bit hours but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I got a code for the Street Fighter V beta and was hoping to get a few games in before bed, but the servers only went up at 2am and they're completely goosed at this point, should have expected that tbh lol hopefully fixed for tomorrow.

Finished Mario and Luigi : Bowsers Inside Story two days ago. Just an all round excellent game. This series has jumped up to near the top of my list of favourite Nintendo games.

Started on Professor Layton and the Spectres Call. For some Reason I'm not feeling it so far :/ I'll give it some time though.

Keep at Professor Layton, Britguy. I really enjoyed that. It's Majora's Mask that's the problem as it's in that crap 3d so basically the nice animation is gone bar cut scenes and you need to use a magnifying glass to try and find coins etc instead of just clicking frantically everywhere with the pen like me hehe.

Still pondering whether to risk random choices for GoT episode 5. Eugh.

Danganronpa 2 - Complete - Beat this earlier in the week! So good. Some of the cases weren't as interesting as the first game and the characters never hit the same notes the first cast did, but they where still very strong. The overarching story however was great, can't wait for Ultimate Despair girls and DR3 when it hits!

Playing Bayonetta on the Wii U at the moment, trying to get all of those Platinums :) Also having a blast with the splatacular Splatoon.

I've stuck at Spectre. Story is getting interesting, town is nice to explore and the puzzles are diverse enough Up to Chapter 6, not too sure what I think of the new assistant, Emmy.

Also started on Theatrhythm: Curtain Call. I expected there'd be a story mode style thing, sort of like Elite Beat Agents with a world map that features missions, new songs etc....but seems you just play whatever songs you want, and dabble in quest mode. Somewhat disappointed, but the gameplay is addictive enough.

Yeah I prefer Luke but with it being a preqeul I just had to get used to it. Emmy's in the Layton film too and saw that before played the game so got used to her, a bit.

Yeah got the film to watch after this. Rather looking forward to it :) Shame the series seems to have died a death with "Layton 7" looking completely unlike anything we're used to

That looks bloody vile!

Never played Phoenix Wright. Bought one of the games, never got round to it. Gave it my Brother and now he's played them all lol. So I'll probably buy Layton vs Wright as he'll like the Wright aspect and I love Layton.

Do give me your review on it if you play it before I do, please :)

Been playing Persona 4 Golden recently as want to finish it before 5 and Dancing All Night come out, hopefully with time to play Arena between. I think I'm currently at roughly the halfway point and just beat a massively frustrating boss, hopefully I can keep going more comfortably now!

The boss in question was the one in Void Quest. Having the ability to rebuild that shell was just cruel, I wasn't under-levelled for the fight or anything and it beat me a few times solidly before I finally went and fused a Black Frost which allowed me to win the fight in the end. Have never been as annoyed with this game as I was during this fight :p

Black Frost is an amazing Persona. If you can keep getting Level Up cards from shuffle time he is definitely worth keeping until the end. I have a Level 99 Black Frost with a maxed out Magic stat and it kicks most things ass.

Finished Professor Layton and The Spectres Call and it's definitely the weakest Layton i've played so far. Story just didn't hook me as well as some of the others and some of the puzzles just seemed not lazy, but just a bit weak and poorly explained.

Taking a break before carrying on the series, and this will likely be a long one (TSC has drained me of enthusiasm for a while) Started up Dragon Quest IX and really enjoyed the first hour or so. This is my first DQ game.
