The good news is the Arrow release has options for watching either the three-movie or six-movie edits, so you can split it into more manageable 90-minute chunks. It's still nine hours of misery overall though.
Ah, Crunchyroll are spoiling you with that deluxe cardboard box and sheet of paper combo. I had a Wandavision steelbook arrive today that Amazon US shipped internationally in a paper bag. No cardboard, no bubble wrap; nothing. Somehow it arrived with only a couple of very minor dents.

I received another pre-order Blu-ray title from Crunchyroll today - this new AnimEigo release is actually a triple-dip for me, as I have the original 2013 Kickstarter CE Movie release and the 2011 OVA Import from Japan already in my collection:

OMG I love all of these! They arrived yesterday, I'm really happy with them and the pink skirt has built-in shorts as well (I guess to prevent chafing and unintentional pantsu-flashing XP) All very comfy and cute
I think one of my two most recent Temu orders will arrive today as well, judging by the tracking (the one with purply-pink shoes and two eyeshadow palettes), so I will likely be doing some v fancy makeup on myself today X3

2024 HAUL - DECEMBER CHAPTER: BATCH #2
I had to use up some annual leave because I work too hard, so I had today off work which is a good time because more parcels will start arriving. This batch focuses on packages that arrived last Monday and today.
Terracotta Store is my go-to for various new Asian Cinema releases and this is one perfect example. The latest Arrow Video release for Asian films has arrived which is from Korean director Kim Jee-woon. This is 2008's The Good, The Bad, The Weird (좋은 놈, 나쁜 놈, 이상한 놈) which is a Spaghetti Western but made in Korea. Actually hadn't heard of this film until Arrow revealed their 4K Ultra HD release. Now just to add, the UK release is cut by the BBFC due to animal cruelty i.e. horse falls, but as long as it's not noticeable it should be fine.
Also arrived is the latest Shaw Brothers release from Eureka Entertainment with their Blu-ray collection Horrible History: Four Historical Epics by Chang Cheh with four films released between 1972-1976. We have Marco Polo (馬哥波羅), which is also known as The Four Assassins, The Pirate (大海盜), Boxer Rebellion (八國聯軍) & Four Riders (四騎士).
Anime Limited's 12 Days of Christmas sale is pretty good if you didn't bother to pick up any of their titles throughout the years and for me there really wasn't much to offer which is good. But there were some that I wouldn't mind owning if the price was right, and they both appeared during the Flash Sale.
Let's start off with Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water, also known as Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, which is a 1990 anime series that Hideaki Anno directed before Evangelion came along. I didn't bother with the initial Blu-ray release by Animatsu and Sentai so waiting until now somewhat paid off. The Ultimate Edition release is a combo pack with 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray versions of the series - the 4K based on a newer restoration that removes all grain from the master, while the Blu-ray is the older master that keeps the grain, so you have two versions which is perfectly fine by me (if only Venus Wars did this). The Artbook is really nice and well-detailed with various information and artwork so I do recommend getting this if you are a fan of the anime and if the price is right (I paid £50.99 which is pretty good value for the 39 episode series + Artbook + UHD/BD combo pack format).

Next we have Tower of God Season 1, the anime adaptation of the popular WebToon series from South Korea. I really enjoyed watching the anime and have seen half of Season 2 thus far. I didn't buy the UK release immediately because the price was steep but having the series available in the flash sale I figured was a good opportunity to pick it up (at £48.49 because of shipping costs). The artbook is good and there's a lot of designs and notes about the series included.

Meanwhile, Bleach Set 2, one of the Limited Run Games packages, the Sentai Filmworks Black Friday haul and maybe the VideoGamesPlus Black Friday haul should all be arriving this week.

Unless my memory is failing me, I'm sure The Good, The Bad and The Weird got a cinema release and I went to see it.
No idea what would have attracted me except the title and it's Korean.
I now know I've seen The Weird in quite a few films.
Anyway, for someone like me, with a short attention span it started as I think a film should.

There was definitely a BBFC record for a theatrical release of some kind years back, which from the looks of it was done by Icon if that helps.
