Kind of looks better than the steelbook. (Ignoring that the SE cover's romance vibes is a bit misleading for the show as a whole.)
Or I'm just not liking Steelbooks enough...

Received my first package from AL today with Blood Lad en FMP. The box they came in was almost completely wrapped with tape, which is... different. Both had a loose disc, which I'm used to with amarays, but hasn't happened to me before with a digipak. FMP case is also slightly damaged unfortunately.

Don't know much about either show, but I quite like the style of Blood Lad's art. Reminds me of Danganronpa.

Haven't got my blood lad yet but I caught it on Netflix before. The real style is a bit closer to FLCL, close enough that the portal girl is totally haruko

Ordered it from CEX bc had already bought the DVD pt2 and S2 pt1+2 from earlier in the MVM sale but then they had the Blu-rays on a later day so just used the trade in value to get the pt 1 Blu-ray. It was the last one available online though.

I would post pictures, but Amazon US shipped my hardback book in a jiffy bag and you can guess how that turned out.

So I've just written an essay to their customer service explaining all the damaged and complained about the use of jiffy bags...

I knew they were cheaping out on packaging. Thats fine so long as they're happy to take responsibility

SecondSpin accidentally sent me the first part, so now I have two of those Sent them a mail regarding the issue.

They usually just automatically email you with store credit (a crappy American tradition.) If you email back asking for the money instead they will give it to you though.
