I have reached the next level of being the man of culture.
First up we have Neon Genesis Evangelion Omnibus 5. For some reason I never bothered to pick this one up for years. I have the other 4 years ago so I'm surprised it's taken this long. Of all of the Evangelion stuff (TV anime, Rebuild films, manga), I prefer the manga version.
Next we have another ecchi harem series with Monster Musume volumes 1, 2 & 3. As you know I enjoyed the anime a lot and had been meaning to check out the source material for quite some time.
And finally for something completely random. The store was selling some bath towels and there were three available; two of which were for Fairy Tail but the other was High School DxD. I mean, why not. I would have preferred an Akeno one but I still like Rias (honestly when it comes to best girl I can't decide between the two).
While I was in town I did initially plan on picking up more live-action asian cinema films. There were a couple that I was interested in but a majority weren't in a sale (3 for £20/5 for £30) so I decided to hold off for now. The titles that were available from the World Cinema section were After the Storm, Black Society Trilogy, Bloody Spear at Mount Fuji, City Hunter, Dark Water, Dead or Alive Trilogy, Departures, Lady Snowblood, Lone Wolf & Cub, Police Story 1 & 2, Street Mobster, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Train to Busan, Tomie Unlimited and more.
