You make good points (although BtB includes the tiniest, most WHY Mirai sticker). It just feels like the ratio of worthwhile to worthless is higher with the Chunibyou set, especially given its cheaper price. Plus the box is shiny. Unless the OVA was obscenely expensive to license I can't fathom how the BtB set justifies an extra $50 retail.

It's a great set. I managed to get the last one (around March), before they switched it to 7 days and upped the price. Pretty lucky.

:eek: I'm impressed. Those Monogatari always look so gorgeous.
All of that must've set you back some, I've not yet been able to click confirm on the Bake box, let alone consider all the rest..(& at once at that, bloody hell :lol: )
 
The monogatari sets alone likely cost 450.

Its one of those where I wish I got in to them when they first started releaaing. One every 2-3 months at 40 quid is ok I suppose, but now I'd be so far behind, I'd want to do one order too :lol:
 
The individual Monogatari arcs in total should be around £410.
Nisemonogatari should be around £105.
The Kill la Kill sets should be around £250.

Well then.
 
Yeah those Monogatari sets are bloody beautiful, I really should give the franchise a fair try, although maybe I shouldn't as if I liked it I know I'd have to own those expensive sets......
 
Yeah the monogatari sets do indeed look nice - i wish they woukd use a more interesting font for the spines but oh well lol. Also, i note that the Tsukimonogatari set has one of those thicker card slips, like the same thickness of the AoA Durarara!!x2 and Expelled from Paradise LE BDs and come with an amaray case that doesn't have that clip thing that all Sentai standard BDs have. As oppose to nekomonogatari - hanamonogatari which are the same as the Aldnoah.zero/nisekoi.

I got really good deals on all this stuff. Two of the amiibos cost less than 15 euros and the other two only 9e euros which is over half cheaper than they normally go (depends on a store) It was bit disappointing that i accidentally ordered wrong Yoshi amiibo because it was the other version that i actually wanted. This Yoshi doesn't look bad but i like the first one more.

I'm not going to list the prices on the games but let's just say that all expect Dream Team were heavily discounted. Chibi Robo for instance didn't interest me much but basically i bought the amiibo and got the game free :D

Anyways...i'm really happy to finally own a 3DS. I was thinking still holding out buying but i couldn't resist the Christmas deal i got on it. I got so many games stocked that i probably don't have to think about getting a PS4 until next Christmas.
 
Got this in yesterday. Didn't get a chance to unbox it until today due to Star Wars though. It's so pretty!
