Jealous of all of the nice Baccano sets arriving even though I own it twice and can't justify a triple dip. Also jealous of The Origin II sets as mine is somewhere in UPS land still (hopefully arriving tomorrow).

Those Madman orders some folks made are hilarious. I hope you have plenty of time to watch all of that :D

I hate UPS land

A lot of the time people in Japan buy multiple copies to get all of the store-exclusive bonuses then throw the extras on the used market for next to nothing. What passes for 'Used' in Japan would be classed as 'Nearly New' in the UK.

Precisely why getting used item from Amazon JP is a good idea - I haven't received any but I've seen quite a few buy a used Kara no Kyoukai LE set from there and it's as if it were new

I can agree with that. I've bought used twice and the condition has been great both times. That JoJo Volume (Minus shipping of course) cost the equivalent of about £3.50 and I wouldn't have been able to tell it was used.

Received Baccano! today, great set looking forward to re-watching the series in the next few weeks.

Still not received my Madman order which is disappointing :(

Goodies today

World Trigger rubber straps

Kojiro Shinomiya (Shokugeki no Soma) hugging pillow cover. I was actually expecting to pay a customs charge as it was just over 9000yen and wasn't marked as gift, so not getting the silver card of doom was a nice surprise.

Received a few titles from Zavvi. Still waiting for 13 Assassins. It honestly took me all this time to realise that the logos on the Warner steelbooks are stickers... Needless to say I have clean Kenshin steelbooks now.

Yurusarezaru Mono is a great film. Saw it in the cinema when Warner Bros were doing their limited screenings (same with the Rurouni Kenshin trilogy and Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler).

Question re JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - I know the volumes for the first season are English friendly. Are the volumes for Stardust Crusaders and Stardust Crusaders Egypt Arc also English friendly?

Nope, no english subtitles on any SC stuff. Which is a shame because if WB don't get their act together when they put out Stardust Crusaders (Which might not even happen, I heard that the US release of Season 1 wasn't selling so well) there would be no alternative. If they have any sense they'll sublicense it to someone who knows what they're doing.

Got a new Power Supply for my PC today. Forgot to take a picture before I actually installed it so the box is empty. Whoops. Was pleasantly surprised how smoothly installation went. Not my first time installing a PSU but as anyone who knows anything about PCs knows, finishing an upgrade then your PC booting on the first attempt is a rarity. Just the other day when I installed my new Graphics Card I forgot to push the power cables on the card in all the way. Anyway, the PSU seems good so far, very quiet. It set me back £60, a cost I wasn't expecting, so I'm probably going to have to hold back on the Anime for a bit. Oh well, I have a bit of a backlog anyway

Just picked up this lot from the post office. Some guy was selling all this as a job lot on ebay for a bargain price... well compared to what I'd have spent getting them all separately. But now I have 2 copies of Gankutsuou...

I saw that one eBay myself. IIRC it was about £100, which is a great price. I couldn't afford to shell out £100 in one go myself and I already own Chunibyo and Prisma Illya, albeit the Animatsu release of Chunibyo and a review copy of Illya, so I gave it a pass. Great pick up though.

Yup £100 with free postage, I worked out that its around £180 worth of stuff if I based it on UK equivalent prices with UP1 for the US only things. I couldn't say no to that kind of bargain. After buying this and my Madman sale blow out I'm pretty poor right now. :p

I saw that job lot on ebay as well, would've got it myself if i could afford but since i'll be getting the UK releases of most of them i didn't mind. Glad someone on here got them though as i remember seeing another job lot on ebay awhile where it was like £50 for around £100 worth of stuff, it sold and then the person who bought it tried to sell most of them separately for £20+ each.

I saw a bundle listing on eBay a few times with Love Hina, BGC 2040, Last Exile, Divergence Eve, Elfen Lied etc listed for £40. At that price if I hadnt already got it all I'd have happily bought it, gone now though I believe

Also received Baccano today

But to break the monotone Baccano pictures, i also received this yesterday from Arrow Films. Actually used up all my Arrow Points i got, resulting in that i've only paid 24,73£ for this very nice boxset instead of the regular 64,99£ price.

"Better than New" for some of the shops I look in over here.
