Glad to finally have one of my favourite Monogatari arcs on Blu Ray.
 
Got my Madoka parts 1+2 through today. Surprisingly nice job on the box... Although It's left me completely confused as to what to do with part 3 and the series to end up with any kind of consistency...

When I temporarily moved out in August while working my internship, my laptop was unfortunately damaged in transit! The screen was shattered and as I later found out, the hard-drive was damaged. Lenovo deemed it out of warranty and wanted a stupid fee to repair it (iirc, it was something like £400 + VAT + parts + VAT on parts). So a friend in Denmark agreed to repair it for the cost of parts and postage and it arrived today:

(I thought the default desktop background was lacking something :p).
 
Well that was ridiculously quick, my replacement copy of Kill la Kill Box 1 arrived and it's basically an entirely new copy of the set heh.

For those wondering that's 2/3 of the show I had to ask replacements for because I got the early bird version (twice).

Box 1 had an audio issue (got that replacement today).
Box 3 had a box issue (got that replacement back in June).

At least the folks at Anime Limited care for their audience to the point that they will help fans out by asking for replacements (for free!).

If you were asking me it was an ebay pickup (french seller). I am now seriously contemplating the AL limited edition version too seeing as some are available, despite having just got the Funi LE, and already having the AL standard edition... Might have to force myself to hold off as I believe Andrew did say there was a possibility of a complete LE...

Pretty sure AL have said they'll do a Ultimate Edition for Cowboy Bebop if they can get the license for the movie, if they can't then they won't do one as there isn't really any incentive for those that have the CE sets without the movie. If you want the CE sets i'd go for them while they're available as the stock on AL's site probably won't last long and the UE isn't guaranteed to happen.
 
Received 3 titles this week, among them the eBay item i mentioned last week.

  • Bunny Drop Premium Edition - through eBay. Extremely happy with this one, as i hunted and missed out more times than i care to count on previous listings, but finally it was my time :) And it's in splendid condition to. Heck and even cheaper than the next item i received :)
  • Beyond the Boundary LE - through UP1USA
  • Haganai NEXT LE - via an Amazon marketplace seller, was only 21,85$ excl. shipping, so didn't doubt about this one too much and bit the bullet.

Nice one on the Bunny Drop Premium Edition! If you don't mind my asking, how much did you find it for? The ones I've seen on eBay have been pretty damn expensive. :eek:
 
The Madoka Movie box looks pretty good and I think someone said it's chipboard, just wondered if anybody can confirm if Rebellion comes in a chipboard or one of Manga's old "Collector's edition" boxes? ie flimsy card gonna break in a week.

If they'd left a space in the box for Rebellion it'd of been an instant buy. I'll probably wait until it's on sale.
 
Manga just replicated the set that Madman released for the films, that's why there's no space for Rebellion.

I suspect the reason the movies were released as Movies 1 & 2 in one set and Movie 3 in another is that the first 2 movies are just recap of the series so the majority of fans would just want the series and movie 3 and wouldn't bother with the recap movies.

Well that's a shame. I was hoping with Animatsu doing chipboard boxes then the Manga releases would as well :( guess they wanna keep up tradition of cheap & cheerful....
