Darker Than Black is 12 mm so it's indeed as thick as a normal European amaray.
Today, both Gargantia OVA's arrived from Amazon Japan. Picture isn't showing it, but both have the same height but the one on the left, the second OVA is thinner. Height is in fact the same as the DVD height FUNimation uses for it's LE's.

I've been contemplating getting the JP Gargantia releases for so long. I liked what I saw of that show, but the Viz release is pure utter garbage that looks like it was encoded for web streaming. The JP sets look amazing.

I think I posted all of once or twice for May, so here's everything I got last month. I think it's the most I've got in a month for ages, so I suppose Q3 being rather quiet is a godsend.
Despite the A/V issues, Knights of Sidonia was probably the best buy of the month for me (N3DS aside).
